Very central
This was my first time staying in a hostel and I had a great experience at AthenStyle. The rooms were a bit small, but great to have a bathroom inside the room. It was also extremely central, though that did make it a bit loud at night.

AthenStyle - a well situated hostel
AthenStyle is a hostel with some hotel rooms. Our roome with four beds was nice and newly renovated, but still it felt like a hostel, not a hotel. The view from our large terace was magnificient and it was only a two minutes walk to Monastiraki station and all sights. The roof top bar was nice, but it was open until midnight every day, and you could clearly hear the noice in the room. If you want to stay close to the tourist sights and don't care too much abot the interior of the hotel - book AthenStyle.

Ett ok Hostel för kortare vistelse
Rent och fräscht familjerum. Frukosten dock skral och inte så välsmakande. Trevlig och hjälpsam reception. Enkelt och bekvämt boende med nära till T-bana, Akropolis och centrum. Bra/ mycket bra för ett par dagars vistelse i Athen.

Hostel olarak temiz ve duzenli. Ana binada cati katinda kahvalti ve bar var. Ana binada ses var. Biz karsisindaki binada kaldik. Ses gurultu olmadi. Yer cok merkezi. Monastraki meydanina ve metro istasyonuna yurume 2 dk. Odalarda buzdolabı yok. Ama klima tv var. Duş biraz dar ve perde var, duşakabin yoktu. Gunluk temizlik yapildi. Personeli iyi ve guler yuzlu.

The location is perfect for exploring Athens, its right next to the Metro station and in the heart of all the bustle. It feels like a safe location even to wander at night. The roof top bar has amazing views and a good buffet style breakfast for 5€. The locker charge is a bit annoying and it cost 3.50€ but when i put in 4€ it did not give me any change. The rooms are quite small and a bit hard to maneuver with 6 people inside. The air con was okay. Its super noisy at night with people partying outside the rooms in the street. Make sure you bring ear buds. You can buy them at the front desk.

Very nice hotel with amazing rooftop. Onlything bad that there was a party with really loud music on the hotel corridor (yes out on the corridor!) that the staff did'nt care about.

Great rooftop, and location
Great location. Excellent rooftop bar, where guests actually hang out, making it easy to meet people. The large dorm is actually good size, and lockers are big. Although storage lockers before or after checkout are not free. Lobby is good place to hangout as well, and more fancy than most hostels.

They are all amazing in every way! A dream team always helpful and friendly. As a hostel and good value of money, I didn't have high expectations. Believe it or not, I have been around the UK in many hotels with 3-5 stars but didn't find this excellent customer service or so clean and tidy room every single day. The hostel is literally in the heart of the city centre within 5 min walk for Plaka. With the train and underground 3 min walk from the hostel, you can explore Athens and many places. I cannot forget the roof top bar with breathtaking view of the old town and Acropolis! Lounge music and cocktails with balcony for smokers, and all around glass. Many thanks to Eirini that she made me feel that I'm ''home''. Justin is the super girl that gives a sparkle to the room every morning! I couldn't be more satisfied and happy with my stay. Definitely I will visit again this lovely hostel in Athens!

It was uniquely quirky in a pleasing way. I think as they fine tune their 'product' they may provide a drinking cup or glass, and managing the water runout from the shower stall can be an unexpected surprise the first time - I was lucky that I needed to exit briefly mid-shower to stop my iPhone alarm, and had an opportunity to see the waterworks that I was in the process of creating. No problem, staff anticipated this with an extra large towel folded. Several times on the floor outside the shower! Clean up only took 5 minutes. Didn't happen a second time. The A/C works great, and is super quiet. I only stayed one night by design. Can hear voices in street outside my first floor window even past 02:30 Sunday. I think this reflects the very lively atmosphere of this Monastiraki area. No problem ,especially considering that I appreciate the first floor unit with my 32 Kg luggage and one night to allow me low stress transition from Piraeus ferry to Athens International Airport. Hotel is a five minute walk from Moniastiraki Metro Station, which provides single Metro line transfers to either Piraeus or the Airport. No stress!

It is a very funcional hostal, so in athens that is perfect. After one drink and dinner on the roof terrace i never went back, that is a place for silence and quiet talking together. I found there very loud horrible músic instead. I went to the Indian roof terrace where the view is the same and the tranquility fantastic!!

When booking my invitation I was ordering for two single rooms, but when got to the place it was turned out to be two beds in a shared room with 8 people!! The stuff was helpful with arranging a solution. I usually book my reservations the same way, but this time it was I think a bit misleading. I was asked to pay additional 120 € per person.

Cet établissement est très bien situé mais il eil n est pas fondé sur un service ( garde de bagage complexe cher dans un local délibérément sans lumière aucune relation d aide et de service ..pas d ascenseur pour accéder au local . la terrasse est bruyante sombre musique et bruit dans les escaliers et aux règles de conservation des aliments non conformes ( voir yaourt le matin ) . le terme de studio pour 3 est abusif ... le peu cher revient cher les hôtels qui ne se prétendent pas auberge de jeunesse sont plus sympath

Good central location to all the sites, shopping, restos/bars and metro. Was a bit noisy at night as it's a hostel and there are a lot of young people partying. I stayed in a private room; my building was quiet but every night I could hear people outside on the street past 2-3 am. Luckily, I was so tired I slept through it most nights but if you're a light sleeper I would not recommend. The staff was helpful and kind whenever I had questions. Rooftop terrace is wonderful! Nice coffee and cocktails.

As an hostel, a wonderful place & few meters away from Lively Monastiraki, The hostel by itself was clean and comfortable, though, the alleyway had late night disturbances (can attribute it to weekend?) Marianna, from the reception was very helpful.

Gli arredi sono semplici ma rispondono a esigenze essenziali (WIFI gratuito, un armadio, un tavolino, una sedia, corredo per il bagno se compreso nella camera) per permanenze limitate all'interno delle strutture. Letto semplice, ma comodo. Notevole la vista dal bar posizionato al sesto piano con terrazza rivolta verso l'Acropoli. Ben organizzato il sistema di deposito per lasciare i bagagli il giorno della partenza: economico, facile da usare e sicuro.

great central location
hotels.com advertise it as a 3-star hotel so it can be disappointing, based on that expectation. Our stay was good value for money though :) The highlight of AthenStyle hostel is the rooftop bar. A great view during breakfast or enjoying a drink watching the sun go down.

The staff were fantastic. Especially the day shift worker from 24 to 26 October. The breakfast could be improved by adding soy milk - I can’t have dairy so the breakfast was bad value for me.

The hotel portion of the hostel was ok. We were on the 4 th floor- there are no elevators tho the staff did carry our bags up. There was NOT a fridge in the room. I thought w a deluxe double room it meant there would b a larger bed or maybe 2 beds, but it was a single double bed - not sure how they came up w the ‘deluxe double’ title . For what it was, it was way overpriced fir the area. The only thing nice was the breakfast and view from the rooftop as we ate our breakfast. I would not recommend this as a place to stay in Athens .

The hotel is very clean and the room that we stayed in was very cute. The staff is extremely nice and helpful. The rooftop bar is wonderful with a great view. However, it was very noisy all night!
