This place photographs well- which is why we rented it. But upon arrival, it was clear what we were getting into. Paint from the exterior was falling off in chunks & the exterior of property wasn’t well maintained. The inside? It appears they focused on trinkets & useless decor rather than practicality. The kitchen was woefully under stocked. 2 coffee mugs for a 3 bedroom house? There were stained, cheap plastic plates in the cabinets, too. The only designated eating area was the kitchen island / bar NOT intended for sitting at as it was a functional cabinet w/ no countertop overhang. And thus, no place for your legs to go except against the cabinet. They placed a wobbly insecure bench in front of it. There was a perfectly good space for a table in the adjoining room where one singular chair sat. The light hung down low in this room and clonked my husband on the head. It didn’t appear to even be hung correctly. The front room, again, had a low hanging chandelier and another singular chair in the middle of the room. That was all. And with no table, they have a WHITE COUCH in the living room with a WHITE CHAIR. Couch was dingy and stained. The tiny tv in the living room was on a wall that no furniture faced. So we had to turn the couch. Out of the 3 bedrooms, one had an en-suite. That bedroom had NO bed. Make it make sense. We encountered a roach. Rooms in desperate need of paint & sloppy work done. Located on a loud 4 lane road & train noises all night long.
