Home away from home!

We loved our stay here! The hosts were really friendly and made sure we felt welcomed! The beach is a two minute walk and they provided a lot of stuff like beach chairs, towels, etc! We traveled with our three year old and my mother in law and we had the BEST time! Our daughter loved Lusty (dog) we 100/10 recommend! 🏖️❤️

Great little place!

This apartment has a spacious living room/kitchenette and has a comfy queen bed in each bedroom. The bathroom/shower also has a lot of room for toiletries and such. There is a nice lounge chair in the living room where our 6ft+ 19-year-old slept comfortably. The beach is a very short walk on very calm streets, so great for the little ones. There is a wagon, chairs, cooler and umbrella. The hosts are very responsive, and they have a very friendly great dane puppy whose company we enjoyed. The beach is private access for the community, and it was not at all crowded (but we weren't there for the weekend, just M-Th). NB: The kitchenette is small and has a microwave and air fryer in addition to a coffee nook. There is a grill outside with a burner for pots. If you want to go to the beach and cook fancy meals, this is not your place. However, it is easy to make it work for simple meals. We grilled burgers, sauteed fish and made salads. There are also many restaurants on the island and you can get takeout and eat on the lovely deck.

Homeaway - a lovely beach house at Atlantic Beach

Homeaway is a lovely beach house at Atlantic Beach. It is not oceanfront but a close walk to the beach. We arrived the beach house was clean, comfortable and well stocked with food. We liked the open floor plan and the two decks. Homeaway is close to a strip mall with restaurants and a food lion. It is a short drive to Fort Macon and Pine Knoll shores aquarium. We enjoyed our stay and recommend Homeaway at Atlantic Beach.

Wonderful Beach House

We had a great time at this house. Short walk to the very private beach. The house had everything that we needed and more. I've never stayed at a beach house that came so well stocked with the basics. Property Manager Vickey was great and responded to all my questions quickly. My group liked this house and wants to go back.

Perfect for a quiet getaway

This was the perfect place for our beach getaway. Very clean and only a short walk to the beach! The kitchen had everything we needed (fully stocked coffee area was a plus!) and the kids loved using the waffle maker every morning. The private beach was very nice and not crowded at all. And having all the beach gear readily available for us was also one of the best amenities. Ben, the owner was very responsive and the dog is very friendly.

A good place to stay…

The private neighborhood beach is probably the best thing about this house. It was so quiet. We had nobody within a hundred yards of us on the beach. The apartment is large and well stocked for a few days at the beach they have the right appliances and the coffee bar/snacks were a great touch. Not oceanfront but the deck is a great place to start your day or wind down at the end of the day. Ben and Megi were very responsive and on top of communicating with us. Really nice stay for a laid back couples trip. It’s also really convenient to restaurants and shopping.
