“The location of this cottage is excellent! It is near several hiking trails, public beaches, a great grocery store and restaurants. We LOVED the deck and the swing by the water. The interior was well-appointed and comfortable with lots of seating and sleeping options. We appreciated having WiFi access. The host supplied detailed, easy to follow information for check-in and check-out. We hope to come back to this wonderful cottage.”

“We loved the central location. The property was clean and the kitchen was well stocked. The kayaks provided were a nice perk. If you use them, just beware that you need to carry them to an access point. It is almost impossible to carry them down the hill. We had an issue when we used the numbered key pad to lock the door. “Sarah was available for us at all times. She answered all of our questions and was able to give us suggestions on things to do and places to go! We even wondered when she was ever able to sleep! Erie cabin was just enough for the two of us! We enjoyed watching the fishing excursion boats leaving and coming back with their catches. (Kimars resort offers fishing excursions on site, if you are interested in fishing). If we ever go back to the UP we will definitely be returning! ”

“This little cabin was a perfect retreat with excellent hosts. We had a problem with our screen die and the owner was there within seconds to make it workable. The campground is laid out well and there is plenty of shade. I highly recommend this campground. ”
