âSuch a lovely team who were attentive and anticipative of my needs. The room had the essentials with an en-suite. Breakfast was also very enjoyable. The premises is by the shore which added to its sparkle. Would definitely visit again. â
âThe owners were so sweet, very informative about area and places to eat nearby, the room was so clean, heater worked great, bed was so comfortable, water pressure excellent and those towels were like blankets, the breakfast was menu with lots of choices including the full Scottish breakfast as an option, tea was great, coffee was wonderful, location was on a working farm it was the best stay thus far on our roadtrip thru Scotland, would definitely stay again!!!!â
âWhen you flush the toilet in bathroom it makes a horrible loud noise. Info on apartment states it has washer and dryer - it does not. It has a washer and a hanging rack. There was still food in fridge and cabinets, was only given 2 towels for 4 people. Beds are close to floor and are horrible. No roller paper in one of the bathrooms. I truly wanted to walk out. â

âAbsolutely loved this quirky castle. The owners was so friendly and welcoming. Very knowledgeable about the castles history and did a personal tour which I loved. His love for the property showed so much in this tour. Breakfast was delicious and left nothing to ask for. Would stay here again. No complaints. â

Very luxurious, great service and surroundings. Delicious breakfast (cooked to order). I stayed in a junior suite, which was rather like a full suite. Quick room service with their full dining menu - terrific food! Huge bathorrom with both shower and tub and plenty of luxury products and towels etc. Minibar with a vast sortiment - and all water softdrinks for free. Good internet.

The establishment includes a pub with mainly local clients (w. dogs in many cases) and a resturant. However there are fire doors that effectively prevent noise in hotel part. In summary, a good, cosy and wellkept pub hotell.â

"Staff was nice. Breakfast not impressing at all. Keycard stopped working four times during a five night stay. Cleaning of the room below average. Two times a used spoon was just put back in place without being cleaned. Some black mold in bathroom."
"I have a challenge with wall-mounted showers with low water-pressure. It takes forever to clean off the soap. You spend too much time in the shower. Poor lighting in the bathroom makes it hard to shave properly. The breakfast is nice but as all hotels today they have super-tiny glasses for juice. Management think people will drink less juice and they believe they will save money. But all it does is making everyone stand up and walk across the room four times for a refill. "
