Ok övernattningshotell.
Helt ok för enbart övernattning med närhet till mycket aktiviteter nära med bil i Austin. Personalen kunde varit lite mer engagerade.

After having had a particularly long day, and admittedly arriving at the end of the evening, about 9:30-10:00 p.m., I found the check in agent abrupt and just a tad bit less than welcoming. Maybe we were both tired.

The staff was super nice, but the pictures I saw of the property are completely different. It needs A LOT of maintenance. It's old and the bathroom definitely needs some attention.

The property is in a great location to Moody Center, which is why we booked it. The bed was not the most comfortable (lumpy, springy) and the bathroom shower wall had long curled strands of hair stuck to it. I'm assuming guests do that but it wasn't seen or caught by housekeeping. The parking area is very limited but luckily, we had a parking spot when we got back to the property late that night. It's alright for a one-night stay.

As we drove up all I could think of was "This is scary!" Grounds were unkempt, building old, only outside stairs and when we got inside our room, the chain lovk was gone, the sink counter was broken like someone jumped on it, and one of the drawers kept coming open because it was uneven. And heard sirens all night long. To top it off, had to pay $50 for an Uber to the airport. Only bright spot was one of the staff who went out of her way to help us.

The location of this property is quite convenient if you have business on UT campus. The room was disappointing though for the following reasons: the smoke detector had been ripped out of the wall, there was a very noticeable rip in the (dirty) carpet, the bathroom wall had writing on it, the toilet's flush lever chain was too long so the tank would perpetually fill until you opened it up to manually adjust it, and the whole room smelled a bit musty. My room wasn't nice, but the linens were clean. The breakfast was small (i.e., yogurt, a few bread items, two cereals, microwavable oatmeal packs, and coffee; apples and oranges were there my second morning), but welcome.

The property needs to be renovated completely. Form trying to get in the room, was not able to because the handle would not turn the backseat. The card key worked but the door would not open. The sink drain was clogged up. The AC unit was in very poor shape. Very disappointed, Days Inn have been a good choice before but now I will surely be looking for better options.

Everything wrong. Check-in was a nightmare, the lady at the front desk was not even able to look up our booking, she stated we just had one room instead of the two we had booked and had us call Expedia and wait for a long time to end up finding the reservation (of course) she didn’t even bother to look for it as she should. Then she gave me a room downstairs with a bathroom full of black mold and rusty bathtub, the stink was terrible and the walls where dirty and full of spider nets… I had to request a room change, they gave me one which at least didn’t have black mold, the rest was similar… Terrible place to stay for sure. Breakfast was also out of a terror movie, greasy seats and tables, broken appliances and awful coffee. Better to sleep in a park.

The staff were very friendly, but the hotel is old and tired and right under the interstate. Poor breakfast selection. There were no chairs in the room, the tub was rusty, and there was mold on the bathroom window.

Check-in was a confused affair, with the first set of keys provided not working (the front desk clerk could not open the door either), necessitating a change of room assignments. Staff was often unhelpful, not being able to explain how to reach downtown Austin – from a hotel establishment with the word “Downtown” in its name – by means other than Uber. Rooms were plainly furnished, as might be expected, but also noisy. The TV remote was missing from the (reassigned) room. Breakfasts were unusually poor, with no fruit, hot options or even waffles, the only choices being breads, cereal (from one of two dispensers), orange juice, and sometimes yogurt. WiFi worked well.

Noise level and property conditions were awful. So bad we checked out early and just lost the funds. Don't stay here. We could not use one of the rooms due to the door lock not working. The property attendant had to let us in when we left. Simply an awful place.

The point of the nails under the carpet going to the bathroom on room 214 were exposed. I actually stepped on it. My husband had to break the wood since there were more than a dozen nails sticking out.

my daughter had swimming in UT, so i try to find the closest hotel. This one is horrible, it it right by the I-35, so noise, but the piece of the door underneath is totally gone, so I felt i had slept under bridge for the whole day. Evening staff is very rude, even i told her that room is noise, she said all our rooms are QUIET. the room is very dated, shower does not work well. so even you are looking for a convenience and cheap, i still do not recommend this one. has not have such bad experince of hotel for so long.

It is so close to the UT campus that made it the perfect place to stay for our stay as we were attending conference on campus. Very easy to get to it, not that far away from downtown Austin and walking distance to some amazing restaurants.

Branded Dump
According to the pictures on the website, the hotel is a nice DaysInn. In reality, the hotel looks like a run down dump that DaysInn purchased and stuck a sign up. Breakfast was a joke - the pictures show hot breakfast options including waffles. In reality, breakfast was a true continental breakfast with pastry options, bread, english muffins, cereal and yogurt. There was no butter for the bread but a toaster was available there was grape jelly also available. Coffee was cold

Very thin walls. You hear everyone around you. The fridge in our room didn't even work. Could hear a loud Tv on one side and on the other side a mother yelling at her kid and on the phone yelling at her boyfriend till early morning! Terrible experience. Never again!

Our room
Room was pretty clean. Air conditioner was noisy!!! Made a bad creaking nose. Our room was directly adjacent to the freeway, so there was a lot of traffic noise. Parking lot is hard to park in the way it is set up. Freezer didn't work, but the refrigerator did. Comfortable bed, nice hot shower with good water pressure.
