  • Perfekt för alla besök i Austin, min ombyggda 3 sovrum / 3 badhus är perfekt att koppla av i efter SXSW, Formula 1 eller ACL Music Fest. Barton Hills stadsdel är centralt, tyst, vackert och nära centrum, med så många bra ställen att äta, se och handla inom gångavstånd, för att jag ska lista. 2 kvarter till Marias Taco X-press för Sun. Hippie Gospel Brunch, 4 kvarter till Broken Spoke Saloon; Saxon Pub, En till En, Alamo Drafthouse / Highball, Opa, ABGB, Barton Creek, Barton Springs och ACL alla en promenad bort. Fullt möblerad. Standard-TV, trådlöst internet, badtunna, täckt veranda med takfläktar och högtalare och en Webber-gasgrill. Måste älska hundar. Jag kan vara en stor värd om jag är tillgänglig.

    Observera: Under de stora händelserna, SXSW, ACL, Formula One (priserna stiger till $ 700 per natt) om jag är tillgänglig kan jag köra dig till fläckar; de flesta saker är inom gångavstånd - 24-timmars restaurang och Walgreens, bensinstation, affärer, den berömda dansgalleriet i Broken Spoke Country med stor levande musik nästan varje natt och till och med en stadsbusshållplats två kvarter bort på South Lamar som kan ta dig till centrum fyra miles away. Excellent stay!!

Cannot say enough great things about this property, stay, and kindness and communication with owner, Karen. The place is so unique, clean, and comfortable. Karen was very accommodating of requests and quick with communication for anything we needed. Great neighborhood and close to many things.

Happy turkeys!

My husband, adults son, and sister stayed so that we could enjoy a Thanksgiving feast and celebration at my niece's house nearby. The house was very inviting and Karen was a wonderfully responsive host! I hope to go back again! Happy Thanksgiving!

Incredible stay in the best area of Austin

Ended up extending twice, just had the best time and such a great location with every amenity needed! Definitely utilized the awesome kitchen and spent more than a few hours on the lovely patio! Highly recommended!!!

Fantastic Stay!

This is one of the best VRBO’s we’ve experienced in a long time. Nothing has come close to the amenities provided and it was perfect for entertaining family. Roomy, open and modern kitchen, comfortable beds (3 bedrooms), 3 baths including a claw foot tub, great hot tub, covered patio and all set in a beautiful neighborhood just off Lamar where there are plenty of restaurants. I highly recommend it to anyone desiring a fun, eclectic stay in a gorgeous area near downtown. Thanks for the wonderful experience!

My family was visiting Austin for a wedding and thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay in this beautifully designed home in a great part of town. The kitchen is amazing with gorgeous appliances and a fun retro vibe. Too bad I had no time to cook! I’d be very happy to stay here again. And our little dog loved it too!!

Nice Property/Owner

My husband, his brother and our sister-in-law stayed at the property for ACL weekend. The house had lots of character and the neighborhood is nice. We had everything we needed, plenty of space, and the beds were comfortable. We didn’t use the hot tub or grill but enjoyed the outdoor space/seating. They owner was quick to answer any questions we had.

Nice location

Went for UT graduation ceremony weekend. Location is really good. Close to UT and downtown. Next to green belt trail. Very quiet neighborhood. House is filled up with nice surprises. Fully equipped kitchen with all the cooking items needed, including oil, spices, and more. Love the hot tub and tree house. Really enjoyed our stay there.

Great house for get together

Reunion of friends in Austin. The house was just what we needed. Three separate bedrooms, plus overflow on the futon in the living room. (There's also a spare room with an air mattress, but you'll be more comfortable moving the futon mattress in.) Kitchen well-appointed, everything you need. Nice back porch for decompressing and chatting after a long day of sight seeing.

Perfect location

Close to downtown Austin to enjoy everything (Barton Springs, Zilker Park, 6th Street, Rainey Street and Town Lake). Sleeps 8 in separate rooms comfortably. Nice backyard area to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning or grill out in the evening. This place has an Austin vibe that took me back to growing up in Austin. Sad to see all the trendy condos and McMansions springing up everywhere. This home is a perfect place for a large group.

Great location - lots of personality

Karen’s house was perfect for a four nights stay while in town for a family event. The neighborhood is great – Walkable and convenient to downtown. Karen was easy to communicate with. We had an issue with a dripping shower, but her maintenance person came over quickly to repair it. The house is comfortable, well stocked and decorated with lots of personality! The backyard was great for relaxing, although we did not use the hot tub. We had a nice stay and would definitely recommend her home.

Great house and perfect location!

We rented this house for four nights during my son’s UT graduation. The location near Lamar and South Congress was excellent for experiencing all the great restaurants and shops the area has to offer. The house was very comfortable with an excellent back yard patio and yard that was perfect for morning coffee and evening cocktails. We loved the interesting (and quiet) neighborhood with all the different houses and hilly, curvy streets. Great for walking exercise.

Charming Home

Rented for a bachelorette party and this was the perfect place! Lots of personality in this home and the owner was very responsive. I would definitely stay in this place again if returning to Austin.

Wonderful House, great neighborhood

Highly recommend this house for friends or family. Classic Austin home in a great neighborhood close to everything you need. Unlike many vacation rental homes where the owner rarely visits, this home has the attention to details and well stocked kitchen you would expect if you lived in the home. Christmas decorations gave this a nice touch. Thank you for sharing!

The house was awesome. Warm and homey .

The house was near everything I love in Austin . We rode skooters all over Zilker and downtown. The hot tub was a definite plus. The fenced back yard was the best with dogs .
