All in all, Lakeway Resort is a beautiful place, despite the low level of Lake Travis. The property is laid out well & it has a good resort feel: laid back, plush, & something I think of when I hear of “yacht rock.”
The only reason I don’t give it 5 stars is, in all my attempts to call, in booking my stay, as well as questions while in our room, no one ever answered the phone. I called 3 times prior to booking to ask questions & no one answered. Staying at the resort, I called the property front desk / operator from our room twice to ask questions about amenities, & no one answered.
