Amazing

This place is amazing. My family had a blast. We were a group of different ages and everyone had a blast. Spacious and everything we needed was provided. Sad we couldn’t come to this place again for my daughter’s graduation.

Christmas 2.0

Our Christmas was postponed due to Covid. But this location and property were great for our re-do. Place not as clean as we would have expected especially during Covid. Spiderwebs were an indicator of dust levels. Kitchen well stocked and appliances worked. Overall good. But not to the standard we have seen in numerous Vrbo stays.

Dirty but huge home and great location

The home is in a great neighborhood close to everything in Austin. The home was large and accommodated our extended family with plenty of rooms and space for the kids to play. However, the home was very dirty. Pet hair on the rugs, hair lining the stairs, dirty floors, toilets had not been cleaned, trash in bathroom trash cans from previous guest. The patio in the back has a board that needs replacing and was a trip hazard. The property manager was easy to communicate with, and sent some help for the cleaning when the issues were reported. The home needed much more cleaning than could be done while we were all staying there. Wish it would have been clean upon arrival. Overall, it is a decent price for the size and location. However, with small children crawling and using the unclean restrooms. We were dissatisfied with the home.

Sorry

Needs to fumigate and there is a snake in the back yard, scared my kiddos didn't want to go swimming any more. Needs a real good cleaning in the inside, very disappointed in this stay.

nice pool, games for kids - needs a new housekeeper or manager

pros: what was great about the property was tons of games for kids and the pool was sparkly clean. nice neighborhood. large home. a/c worked flawlessly. cons: this place was pretty dirty. dried food particles stuck to the sink, dirty dishes inside the cupboard, trash particles under the table etc. they left us one trash bag for the kitchen and a partial roll of paper towels for our 3 night stay. upon arrival we had incomplete info to use the electronic door knob but we figured it out.

Not bad - room for improvement

The location is great for the Austin area. It’s like walking into an old relatives house and it smells in there. It just needs a deep cleaning like the cabinets , vents are all dusty. Weather was nice but pool was green and unusable. Ceiling fans works but were so loud. All the leather was peeling off the couch. Looked like it’s been there since 1975. Properly manager was very nice and accommodating. I don’t think I would ever stay there again but it was not bad. You do have plenty of space there.

Great stay

We have been out of our house due to damage from the snow storms & needed to find a place fast. We were happy to find in a great location (10 minutes from our house) that allowed dogs. The house had everything we needed & a big yard for the dogs. Couldn’t take advantage of the pool due to weather (closed this time of year) but looked nice. Great host allowed us to extend our stay as well. Highly recommend!

Spacious and great location

This was the second year in a row that we stayed at this property. It has all the amenities we need and space for the whole family. I did notify the owner that there are a few maintenance issues that need to be addressed and although rooms were adequately cleaned, there is a lot of dust, etc, under sofas, and on air vents. It would be good to give the whole house a thorough cleaning.

Housekeeping was not good.

The size of the house was great for us. The toy room was fantastic and the granddaughters loved playing on the toys outside. The exercise room did not have a treadmill, fans, or a flat screen tv, and it was more like a closet. The tv in the kids room is old and did not work properly. The king size bed was comfortable, not so much the rest. There was no coffee like the description said there was suppose to be. The spices that were provided were mostly out of date including one container that expired May 9,1999. There were 5 empty containers of coarse pepper in the cupboard. All together, we threw out a little more than a grocery bag full of spices at least 2 years past the use by date. I didn't touch the half full bottle of wine in the dining room. The kitchen had lots of utensils. Too bad we had to wash almost every pot and pan that we used because they felt like grease was coated on them. I had to clean old nasty food out of the oven before we could even cook supper when we arrived. There was no functioning can opener in the kitchen so my husband and son had to use a knife (no sharp knives either) to open cans for Thanksgiving dinner.The vent in the kitchen was covered with mold and the intake vent in the wall was a solid mass of grey on the filter. There was no way it was sucking in air properly. We would have done our towels before we left but there wasn't enough laundry soap provided. AND the topper to the weekend had to be the tarantula that walked into the kitchen on our last night there. There is a large gap under the kitchen door that let in several bugs and spiders.

Family stay for Wedding

This was a great house!! The not complaint is the TVs upstairs requires wi fi and the wi fi didn’t work well. So could not watch tv in bedrooms. Other than that was just what we needed for our family🤗

Over all the house was nice

The pool was miss leading. The cleanness of the house could have been better. There was trash in the trash cans. The inside of the oven was dirty. But over all the house was fine for our needs.

Unkempt and dirty, but lots of amenities

My family and I left the house a full day before our planned checkout because we did not feel comfortable remaining there another night. When we first arrived at 4:00 pm, the maid was still in the process of cleaning. While this wasn't a big issue, it was slightly concerning to have someone else in the home when we were supposed to be able to check in. Once the maid left, we were able to get ourselves acquainted with the property and we were unfortunately very disappointed. The backyard was unkempt and the house was dirty. There were cobwebs in the corners of the downstairs bathroom, the blinds were incredibly dusty, the dishes did not appear to be adequately cleaned, the toys were dusty/dirty and the showers looked unclean. We could have likely overlooked many of these issues... until we turned the lights off to go to sleep and saw several cockroaches (~4-5) in the bedroom. The next morning, we saw another cockroach in the kitchen. Based on our observations and this experience, we were not comfortable staying at the house for another night. On a positive note, the home is a great gathering space and we appreciated the towels, ample entertainment (TVs, air hockey table, toys, etc...), and the pool space. We wrote the above to the owner and she replied with the following: "Thank you for the feedback. We do pay an exterminator but back up to the green belt so with the recent rains I suspect it may be driving the water bugs in the house. We will get it restated right away! We will also send in the deep cleaning crew to dust all from top to bottom."

Pandamic Vacation

It needs a good once over and clean. It is good for young kids since there are so many toys. The pool was just what we wanted. The kitchen has plenty of good supplies but needs to be organized and cleaned. Overall we were very happy. It is in a nice neighborhood that we enjoyed.

Austin family Spring break trip

We booked this home to enjoy spending time in Austin with our extended family. The space was comfortable and had plenty of beds for our family. We were never able to get the hot tub to work, and the yard looked as is it hadn’t been mowed in a month. The yard and pool were full of leaves.

A lot of space that is completely unfinished. Dirty. We left it cleaner then we arrived. No HOT TUB or POOL as advertised. Proof of expectation. Expect financial compensation. Please respond.

Perfect setting for family gathering

Spacious home with lots of family-friendly amenities. Awesome playroom (lots of air hockey games among generations of my family, and jigsaw puzzle solving for others.) Fenced back yard perfect for our furry family members (we did poop patrol to be sure the playground was kept clean!) Pool and hot tub would have been great in season, but we didn't take advantage of the hot tub while there. Definitely recommend to families looking for great accommodations in a convenient location in Austin!
