Inside the main property the open living area works very well and the smaller gite was an added bonus especially due to the added kitchen space and utilities on offer. "Lovely location and spacious living. Only downside is the number of steps especially between rooms. Not for anyone who has problems with stairs. Otherwise, a well equipped kitchen with good sized fridge & freezer. Our hostess even went out and bought some champagne flutes because I said I enjoyed sparkling wine."

"The place was ideal for us. It had the most amazing outdoor areas where we could dine and gather to relax. Temperatures reached 38 degrees and the pool area and decking had plenty of shade and beautiful views looking over the river in the distance. There were two BBQ areas and the kitchen had everything you needed. You could walk to the town where there were a number of restaurants and a short drive across the river to a local supermarket. Highly recommend."

"The hosts have done a great job in making this cottage really comfortable and have thought of everything-even down to the nespresso coffee machine, which I thought I was going to miss. We went for lunch at Hotel du Commerce on Sunday and I suffered food poisoning all day Monday and some of Tuesday so we came home without viewing any sights."

"After initial booking, don't expect much more help from the booking agency. And if French is not your spoken language, hire or ask a french speaking friend to help with booking the vendors. The recommended caterers are ok. Book the times 30 minutes earlier to ensure it's on time. And make sure ALL details are in writing and explored, or you may be disappointed."
