HamCove BestBldg Bästa ViewWIFI / OCEANFRONT / 2018 GOLFCART, SMART TV-apparater

Det finns en anledning till att alla lokalbefolkningen säger alla att bo på Exclusive Hamilton Cove. Vid 1 000 kvm, (jämför med 400 på hotell) och Way More kvadratmeter än alla andra 1bdrm HamCove-enheter, är denna villa särskilt rymlig och rymmer enkelt 4 personer (2 sovrum i bdrm, 2 på drottning bäddsoffa i vardagsrummet! Denna lägenhet har inga hinder och du kommer att känna dig på toppen av själva stranden du är så nära (se pix). Bara två trappor kommer över havet! Kom ihåg att lägenheter med inga steg har ingen vy. Det finns ett separat badkar (för barn eller om det är din sak) och en separat dusch - oavsett vad du behöver. Med ALLA bekvämligheter och säkerhet plus privat användning av en golfvagn, privat strand och ett kök, inte bara för att spara från att gå ut, men att slappna av och stanna kvar! Vakna till lugn, brygg kaffe (eller vad som helst), ät en lil något som slappnar av på balkongen utan att behöva lämna (som ett hotell). Kör 10 minuter till Avalon, eller stanna här på den privata stranden, poolen, jacuzzin som gör Ham Cove. Spela tennis, minigolf, krokett, träning, snorkla eller köra 5 minuter till superklassig Descanso Beach för kajakpaddling, Stand-up paddleboard, en massage..eller .. gå till restaurangen / baren för levande utomhusmusik och drycker på strand!!!
Se, denna semester är verkligen vad du gör av den. Från TOTAL avkoppling till Full On Hikes, cykling och ALLA vattensporter! Avalon är så nära, men känns mil från hemmet. Och att bo på Ham Cove är toppen av linjen men bäst värde!

Wow - images certainly do not do this place justice. Rich's unit is the perfect location for views, access to clubhouse amenities, and the golf cart/beach and it offered the perfect space with comfy living areas and the balcony we spent most of our time on (the neighbors are nice too :)). Loved that the quiet private community was a short distance away from crowds and parties when you were ready to call it a night. Rich was very communicative to ensure our arrival was smooth and instructions/tips were clear. Will definitely return soon.

Wonderful views!

Great property! Loved the views! Loved sitting on the balcony with a cup of coffee in the morning and a glass of wine in the evenings! We had everything we needed. The golf cart was great to have, it was a hit with the kids! A peaceful retreat despite being full that weekend! We will definitely be back!

It was a great time

I only have one complaint is on Wednesday when we went down to town came back to condo and door was wide open they asked if we were staying there I replied yes I asked why my door was open they said they have a master key to enter they wanted to go in and turn up the hot water I said this isn’t except able I have lots of cash and valuables inside and I don’t appreciate you guys just going inside without asking me first I told them I paid a lot of money to stay here and don’t appreciate them just opening door

Perfect destination for a weekend getaway

We absolutely love Catalina, this was our first visit to Hamilton Cove and it definately wont be our last. Sunrise coffee was may favorite part, the view is amazing. Rich is a wonderful host.

Another wonderful stay

We have stayed here several times. Richard the host is top notch! Super accommodating and goes out of his way to provide a great stay. Nicely decorated, amazing view and you get to listen to the ocean as you fall asleep in the very comfortable bed. Already planning on another stay this year! The condo has the perfect location. The decor is in need of updating. Did not feel the furniture was clean to sit on. No sheets for the pull out were available. Inside cabinets were dirty with trash was left behind inside of them. Not sure if maid service is looking for that. AC only exists on a portable unit in the living room with no instructions on its use. Toilet feels it’s ready to fall off the wall. The home owner really should visit the property for a thorough walk through.

Birthday Get Away

It was really nice to get away to Catalina. We have stayed in Hamilton Cove years ago with friends. The place was nice, but really needs some TLC. It was clean but everything was out dated and needed some drywall repairs and paint. Richard was so nice to us that we got an early check in. We will do another trip with friends in the future.

Relaxing Vacay

This was our first time on the island and we couldn't have picked a better place to stay for our family. We were able to sit on the balcony and watch the kids at the beach or playing sand volleyball. We unitized the heated pool, hot tub and gym. Having the golf cart as a part of the reservation was key! Property Manager was very helpful with making our stay comfortable and easy!

Great island getaway

We had a great time staying at Hamilton Cove. It is a very nice and secure complex with great amenities. Be aware that the condo is accessed by about two flights of stairs from the road above and three flights from below. There is a million dollar view from the balcony that we never got tired of. Watching the sunrise rise each morning was a treat. Rich, the property host, was friendly, attentive and accommodating. Communication was quick and clear. Generally the condo was comfortable, clean and well stocked. We were surprised that there was no bar soap provided. We planned to shop for some groceries so that was easy for us to rectify. There were some ants primarily in the kitchen and bathroom. We were cautious with our food and toiletries so they never caused a serious issue. We found the tile shower to be quite slippery but we countered that by putting a bath towel down to stand on. A rubber mat would be a nice addition. The dishwasher didn’t appear to have been working properly. I could see a lot of detergent residue inside and it had a funky smell when it was opened. There wasn’t any dishwasher detergent anyway so we just left it closed and hand washed the dishes we used. It wasn’t a big deal for us but could be for folks that plan to cook a lot. Bottom line, we would happily return to Hamilton Cove and Rich’s condo.

A disappointment

I have rented some lovely VRBO homes. I do expect a certain standard, when I pay a lot of money and the stay in this apartment failed to live up to normal expectations. Oh boy, does this owner know how to charge! $100 Extra to check in a few hours early. Extra to hire a crib for a baby, an extra $100 if you fail to fill up the golf cart tank. It took $6 in fuel, when we filled it up. Very abrupt text messages from owner when we asked a question. I expect a certain standard and do not expect ants to be all over the kitchen. Owner clearly knew about them as ant bait is in the laundry room. Cleaners were waiting outside the apartment 15 mins before check out time, clearly rushing us out. Catalina is lovely, but I would not stay in this apartment again.

Our 6th anniversary. Spent a week and could have used a few more days. Last time at Hamilton Cove/Catalina was about 9 yrs ago in an upper unit. Being in a lower unit was great as we always could here the ocean!

Great location and trip!

Booked this place for the 2nd time for a 4 day stay with grandsons. Perfect location to be away from town when cruise ships arrive. Golf cart is a lot of fun and makes it easy to see more of the island. Richard is a great host. Will definitely book again!
