Bright, cozy apartment in an older building

  • Bright and comfortable apartment for 2 or 4 people (double bed, sofa bed, air conditioning, linen, plenty of crockery, Wi-Fi), completely renovated and decorated with care.

    Ideally located in the center (5 minutes from the Opera, theaters, behind the Popes' Palace) overlooking a small picturesque square very quiet.
    Close to shops as well as restaurants.
    Farmers' market every Saturday morning 100m from the Place des Carmes to the Portail Matheron (very lively and attractive)

    Close to the city's shuttle service every 10 minutes which takes you wherever you want within the city.

    Parking facilities nearby if you come by car.
    Laundry and cleaning facilities are available on request.
    Possibility to have in addition 2/3 additional beds with the apartment above as well as a terrace with a view of the Popes' Palace!

This accomodation was a gem. We stayed for nearly 3 months whilst we explored the South of France. It was a home away from home with all the comforts we needed. The location was perfect, the hosts were fantastic and the home had character. Highly recommend.

Wonderful place to stay

Absolutely wonderful place to stay, very quiet and calm but only a few minutes walk to city centre, incredibly well equipped and you could not wish for a more pleasant welcoming host than Frederique.

Lovely host, great location....

My wife and I stayed here for 5 nights and found ithe apartment spacous and very well equipped . The location was absolutely excellent, a few minutes walk from the Palais du Papes and all the restaurants and shops..Frèderique was an excellent host who made sure we had everything we needed.

Spacious apartment!

Frédérique met us at the apartment and showed us around, even recommended some restaurants and other things to do in Avignon. We want to go back!

Lovely, spacious apartment

I enjoyed my stay here very much. The apartment is convenient to everything in Avignon. I walked miles every day around the city and beyond. The little boat that goes across the Rhône is close and super easy to get to trails to ride a bicycle or a walk. The owner is wonderful.

Appartement très propre et bien situé dans Avignon intra-muros proche de la place des Carmes. Boutiques et marchés à proximité. Hôtesse très accueillante et efficace.

Fantastic!

Great property, great location and a wonderful hostess. Frederique was VERY accommodating. She worked with us when we arrived late, and helped us communicate and deal with cabs. The place was perfect for a couple and the air conditioning was fantastic!

Lovely apartment in ideal location

We very much enjoyed our stay in this lovely apartment. It is in a very quiet part of the town with easy access to all the local facilities and sights. Frederique was very helpul throughout. We have no hesitation in recommending it.

Highly recommend!

This apartment was everything we were hoping for: comfortable, clean and close to attractions. Frédérique’s apartment is quiet, and we were easily able to walk to the castle, restaurants and shops, as well as walking from the train station to her place. We loved being able to shop at a nearby grocery store to pick up what we wanted to have for breakfast, and her kitchen had all we needed. Loved the little extras !

Delightful apartment in Avignon

The apartment is spacious, comfortable and nicely decorated. The appliances work well, linens are generous as are dishes. The apartment is close to tourist venues but in a quiet neighbourhood. Our hostess, Frédérique was charming and gave us excellent advice for restaurants and day trips, and invaluable taxi assistance.

wonderful stay at appartment in center of Avignon

Nous avons eu un sejour vraiment très agréable à l´appartement. Il est spacieux, lumineux et comfortable. Il est très bien situé dans le centre historique et à quelques pas du palais des papes et des musées principaux. Les meubles et la décoration sont choisis avec du goût et on se sent tout de suite à la maison. Nous aurions bien aimé prolonger un peu notre sejour dans l´appartement et nous espérons certainement y revenir lors de notre prochaine visite à Avignon ou en Provence!

Convenient to sights

The apartment is spacious and equipped with ample dishes, utensils, and appliances for cooking. Frederique is friendly and helpful, giving us information about the area. We parked in the free lot Parking des Italiens and took the shuttle back to the old town. We enjoyed our stay in the unit.

Lovely accommodation and gracious host

Frédérique is a delightful lady and was a pleasure to meet. She was responsive and accommodating in every way. Her apartment is charming, in a quiet area of town and convenient to everything. You cannot go wrong with this choice. We definitely recommend to anyone wanting to visit Avignon.

Great location In the heart of a beautiful old city

This quaint fully loaded apartment was the perfect place to explore the old city of Avignon. The only consideration is parking nearby is very difficult. But then parking in Europe is generally difficult! There is free parking but it is about a mile from the apartment so if At least one person in your party loves the walk this is the perfect place for you. Saturday markets are lovely the stores are lovely and everyone including Federica was amazing and nice!

We loved our time here. The apartment is beautiful and has everything you need. It is within walking distance of a bunch of restaurants, stores, and the Palais. Would definitely stay here again!

Sehr schöne Wohnung in bester Lage

Die schöne Wohnung mit vollständig ausgestatteter und geräumiger Küche liegt optimal im historischen Zentrum von Avignon. Geschäfte, Supermärkte und historische Attraktionen sind in kürzester Zeit fußläufig zu erreichen. Frédérique, die Gastgeberin ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Vielen Dank!

Wonderful Host

Frederique, the host, met us on check-in and went over all of the apartment's amenities. She gave us a city map and advice on local restaurants. She is simply one of the nicest people we have met in our travels. The bed was especially comfortable and everything was clean and in order. Just note that the location is a ways from the train station, so you will want to take a taxi.

Charmant séjour
