We were placed in a room that was known to be directly under ongoing roof repairs. The noise was horrendous all day every day of our stay! For the price of this room, i expected the toilets to be of modern, standard height, rather than of the older, lower height. With 2 bathrooms, we expected at least one to have a walk in shower rather than 2 very tall tubs, which were awkward & frankly dangerous to get in & out of safely. Adults want a shower! One of us had a medical issue, & your concierge, Olivia, was extremely helpful & accommodating. We should NOT have been placed in this room with ongoing, extremely noisy repairs happening. When we asked to be moved, we were told that club members were given preference of rooms & there were no other rooms available. That was insulting, given the price we paid. We were also told that we couldn't get a refund on the room, if we decided to leave because of the noise, because we had booked & paid for the room on Expedia.. Under the circumstances, your relationship with Expedia should have been able to work out a refund. We were told that the resort fee would be refunded, but have yet to receive the email confirming that. All in all, this stay was a disaster, & without further action to refund the cost of the room, we will be sharing this horror sori ldtory on social media.
