Byggdes 1976, är detta Frank Lloyd Wright-lärling utformade hem inbäddat i de rullande bergen i Wisconsin River Valley på 30 hektar gammal lövskog och restaurerade inhemska prärie. Öppen planlösning vardagsrum, matsal och kök med höga 18 fot tak, takfönster och vintage vedspis. Glidande glasdörrar öppnas för ett 400 kvadratfot däck som är suspenderat i träden och ser över dammen nedan. Nyligen ombyggda kök och badrum. Kök med gasutrymme, full storlek kylskåp, mikrovågsugn, diskmaskin och lagret skafferi. Utomhusgasgrill. 2 sovrum, alla med en queen size-säng och badrum. rymliga garderober, sängkläder och handdukar.
Halvvägs mellan Spring Green och Dodgeville. Cirka 12 miles till American Players Theatre, downtown Spring Green och Frank Lloyd Wrights Taliesin. 50 miles till Madison.

Beautiful property in an amazing off the beaten path location. Very drivable to area attractions like downtown Spring Green and American Players Theater. Large deck with cute lights to enjoy the evenings, lots of vintage furnishings, and everything you'd need in the kitchen. Great stay!

Beautiful place, well provisioned, quiet, convenient to Spring Green and APT, pet friendly (we had a couple of standard poodles that had a great time exploring), good beds and shower (essential!), and very easy communication with the host. Would happily stay here again.

We went for a weekend and stayed in this beautiful place. It is exquisitely decorated and has everything that you could possibly want. We saw shooting stars, as the night sky was perfectly dark without city lights. We were only a five minute drive to Spring Green for shopping and sightseeing. This felt both totally remote and convenient, and such a gorgeous house!!

Check in was easy. Everything we needed. Towels, bedding, dishes, pans, cooking oil, some spices, coffee pot, games, movies, books. Big windows by the patio, for awesome birdwatching and other critters. SO relaxing and beautiful!

Beautiful home in secluded location. Felt like we were communing with nature. Grab your groceries at a nearby town. You won’t want to leave once you get there. Very close to Taliesin…the only reason we left our nature retreat!

Clean and comfortable

This is the cleanest place i have been in since my Swedish grandmother's home. I am picky, and the cabin was immaculate. Everything one would want was anticipated. Gorgeous birds outside the main window. A perfect retreat.

Beautiful Woodland Stay

Driftless dreaming

From arrival to departure, everything was exactly as advertised, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time in SW WI. We had a few questions during our stay and Phyllis responded immediately with pleasant and helpful replies. Her property manager (Troy) even took time out of his evening to help us with some on site technology. Well done!!!!

Beautiful! Just book it!

What a beautiful house in spectacular setting!We spent two nights there, and wish that our stay had been longer. The house is larger than expected, easily accommodating the four adults that stayed there. It provides great communal space, but also nicely appointed private space for each couple. The view out the floor to ceiling windows to the spacious deck was so relaxing, and as every review seems to mention, watching the wide variety of birds that visited the bird feeder on the deck was quite a treat!As for the bottom-line “must haves” that we look for in any VRBO, this house has all the bases covered…immaculately clean, comfortable beds, great Wi-Fi, spacious bathrooms and just about every kitchen and dining amenity you could ever want.If we’re ever back in the area, this will 100% be our rental again! Loved every minute of it!

Another Peaceful Stay at Serene Woodland Oasis

We are so happy that we found this multi-generational, beautifully built and designed cabin, on Vrbo. It’s our second time here, and our little family enjoyed 3 recharging days of rest and relaxation. The birds and squirrels are really something to behold. Beds comfortable. So easy to check-in, check-out, and navigate the space in between. Internet is great and reliable. And there is more to do nearby than first meets the eye (hiking at state park, bars, etc.). We simply love it here, and will be back again and again. Thanks, Phyllis and family!
