“The sheets and towels were dirty. When asked for more towels for showering and the pool because only 2 towels were in the bathroom and 4 people were booked for the room we were given 2 more and was told that was all they had. Wash clothes were brown, and sheets had dirty on them. Bathroom wall looked like either blood or dirty was on them. When you first turn on the water it was orange. Building smelled like pot. Pool was open and alright but dirt was floating in it. Fridge did not keep...

“I stayed there twice recently as a quick overnight stop on my way from New York to Michigan. It was mostly clean, but some dirt in the corners of the room. We had to ask for extra towels each stay - they stocked the room with one less set than the number of adults both times. It did not appear that the staff thought that the guests would actually want breakfast. “This has become my go to stay place when traveling east. It is a great hotel with a wonderful staff. Helpful, kind and courteous. The continental breakfast, simple but with a variety. The rooms are clean, beds are comfortable and the showers rock! A quiet stay with amenities and a pool! Conveniently off the highway. Definitely worth the overnight or more stay.”

“This was a 4 day stay. Firstly the A/C did not work, the staff said to give it an hour and the room did not cool. They did give us another room which was not much better either. Husband went and brought a fan to cool the room down. The next day while we were gone the cleaning staff had turned the A/C off and the room was at least 100°+. 2ndly breakfast was not on the premises we were given a card to get breakfast from McDonalds next door and it was limited to certain items and a drink. 3rdly...

“Very quiet in a great location that is close to shopping, restaurants and only 20 minutes to the State park beaches . Nice to have coffee machine in lobby all day . We Read that Breakfast was really good but it was just okay with scrambled eggs and sausages as the only protein . Also the gym was not really a gym - a few free weights and cardio machines . Even a bench or two would be nice . Still we paid a pretty good price and 30% less than nearby Holiday Inn.”

“Okay stay. In town to visit friends. Spacious rooms. Helpful staff. Bathrooms don't have fans so there's mold on the ceiling but lots of fresh towels. Air con works but made the room damp. Pillows still smell like cigarettes despite asking for new ones. Pool was good. Hot tub closed. Breakfast covered the basics.”

“Our stay was satisfactory. The room could have been cleaner- there was debris on the rug near the bed and hair on the shower wall...things that are simple checks so it makes you question other shortcuts. The fitted bedsheets were too small for the beds so they shifted all night. The snack bar was nice but they didn't have bottled water left, which, in a hotel with heavily chlorinated public water that tastes awful, would be a nice thing to keep stocked. “It was kind of frustrating we got there thinking we would have a room available at 3:00 pm as it stated when I booked the room and no rooms were available till around 4:00 pm and the washing machine was broken. I totally understand that in itself was not the staffs fault. But I asked 4 times within 24 hours for towels and kept being told “in about an hour” and finally had to ask an additional time to get them. “Very welcoming. Took the time to share the history of property, provided information on local areas of interest, and provided a wonderful home cooked breakfast with homemade pastries and jelly! Doesn't get any better than that!”
