âThe name says it all. When you stay here, you feel like you are staying in a palace. On the outside, it is far away the most magnificent building in Murren. The inside is even better, tastefully and magnificently decorated. The staff is excellent, and the sauna in the spa area is not to be missed. Finally, the dining room is dramatic and the food, particularly the extravagant breakfast, is hard to beat.â

âWe loved our stay in the small chalet apartment at Hotel Baren! We had an amazing view of the mountains and could hear the bells on the sheep just down the road⊠and see the bunnies playing just outside our window by Hotel Edelweiss. The free breakfast was AMAZING and we had dinner there, too - also delicious. The staff was very attentive and helpful. We wouldnât hesitate to stay here again!â
âThis hotel is outside the city of Lucerne but only 20 minutes away. It is nice and peaceful, which was our preference. The Mt. Pilatus train station in Alpnachstadt is just a few minutes away. We got to enjoy both sunset and sunrise from our balcony.
The staff were friendly and professional and the room was clean and uniquely charming but with modern conveniences. The restaurant served excellent local favorite dishes.
We look forward to another stay in the coming years.

âA small family run hotel. It has very good connection with Interlaken (local bus) and so you can easily reach all hotspots of the region. It is a quiet and clean hotel with friendly staff, and with good food. It can be recommended to all kinds of travellers.â
âVery nice place and very kind front desk staff that was very helpful. The room was alright and the breakfast was great. The only thing that could be worth clarifying in the hotel description is that the hotel is only reachable via cable car since the hotel is located right up by the moutains. We had a great overall experience and it was fun having to take the cable car up to the mountains, it just took us a while to figure out how to get to the hotel since the GPS couldn't find it.â

"We came by car to Grindelwald to see Eiger and take the cable car to Eigergletscher. For this purpose, the lodge was excellent! We saw the big north face of Eiger through our window, and sitting on the roof of the adjacent Grill Bar and having a beer while watching the mountains was just amazing. The lodge is basic but in great shape. Checkin and parking was very convenient and breakfast was good. "
