Kemah Cottages on Walsh - Tiny Dream Cottage

Kemah Cottages on Walsh, Tiny Dream Cottage och dess syster, Hospitality House, ligger i ett icke-integrerat område som heter Bayview, bara 3 miles söder om Kemah Boardwalk och 3 kvarter från Galveston Bay. Liksom sin postgranne, Bacliff, innehåller området en mångfald av hem och invånare. Det kanske inte är ovanligt att höra ett bollspel eller musik som flyter i luften när grannarna samlas på en söndag eftermiddag.

Tiny Dream House har varit just det sedan jag såg lagringsbyggnaden på den här fastigheten. Nu är vår vision om ett exklusivt bostadsområde komplett och redo att delas. Vi säger dela eftersom det är vår komma undan också, förses med allt vi vill ha det när vi är där. Enheten nås från sidan av Hospitality House och har tillräckligt med utrymme att parkera en båt och två fordon.

Med Xfinity-tv och trådlöst internet måste du bara lägga till din eldstick för att ta med dina favoriter. Vi tror att du kommer att njuta av vikbrisen, fåglar, frisk luft och kolgrill när du är på däck för mycket för att spendera tid inuti!

Fantastic get away

This house has all that you need it's extremely convenient to most of the hot spots you'd like to visit and down a peaceful road other than the rooster who likes to crow in the morning but it definitely reminded me of home lol. Enjoyed the peace that this house offered after being out all day/evening. The host had excellent communication.

I loved how they had everything for the beach including sunscreen. Had coffee for the mornings, was only like 11 min from the beach, and only 11 min from the light house restaurant/ bar area. Great little get away. Thank you for having me

It was perfect for me

It was perfect for me, nice and quiet, really enjoyed my stay! Property owner we awesome and helped out when the temperature dropped below freezing switch is a big deal for this area! House was nice and clean and very comfortable to stay in! It’s the perfect tiny house. The only issue I had was finding the house at first because the gps takes you to the wrong house but homeowners directions help me find it. Should have read it first lol

cozy and peaceful

It was the perfect place. It had everything I needed for an extended stay off, the beaten track, a wonderful place to just relax in the evenings, which was what I was looking for. I am looking forward to coming back again.

Perfect tiny house

I was traveling solo and this place was perfect for me. It was peaceful and I felt safe. Nice area ,I felt like it was close to everywhere I wanted to go. Will definitely stay again.

Adorable Tiny House

Our oldest lives in the area and we’ve stayed in several places and this by far was one of the best! The tiny house was absolutely adorable and had so much charm.

We hosted our backyard wedding here!

Linda was a pleasant from the start. We communicated very well together. The little cottage is just how it is in the pictures and the backyard was big enough to host our small backyard wedding! This little place will always be in our hearts for the rest of our lives. Thank you Linda and Greg for hosting such a beautiful little space!

Beyond 🥰 perfection

This was the best VRBO stay I've ever used. My boyfriend and I have been together for nearly 3 years and this was our first vacation together since covid happened shortly after we got together. This was a dream come true. Secluded and private but close to everything. We were dead center from Houston to Galveston. We landed Friday afternoon and left Monday afternoon. We were able to spend a day in Houston and a day in Galveston. Not to mention we spent time in the area of the cottage and there was so much to do there. While there I messaged the host for recommendations and she responded promptly. She has a little blue "instruction" book for the cottage with some local recommendations that I highly suggest reading as soon as you get there so you are comfortable using everything and get some ideas. The pull out sofa was just right for us. I'm 5'9" and he's 6'4", so naturally it was a little close, but we slept with our heads at the foot of the bed and it worked out great. We will DEFINITELY be returning during 'season times' to enjoy the beach and cookout next visit. Beyond grateful!! Truly blessed to find this place. 1000000 out of 5 stars!!

Cozy, Quiet , Surrounded by Trees

I will definitely revisit this comfortable cabin if I am spending time in Kemah. The a/c was very comfortable. The cable had plenty of channels. The kitchen had a counter top stove, everything necessary to cook, a coffee maker and Folger's coffee. Nice neighborhood. I realized by driving around that this cottage is walking distance from a park that faces the bay. The blue and turquoise color scheme was perfect for the ocean beach pier atmosphere. I could go on bragging. My mind is rested and I'm ready to return to Houston and my job.

Nightmare in Bacliff

Location was described as friendly neighborhood community where you can hear children playing in ball fields in the back ground. It was actually a lovely little tiny ROOM ( a house has a washer and dryer- this was void) located in the hood with barking drug guarding dogs/ trailer parks/ double wides/ derelict shacks. I encountered the people in the double wide next door doing drugs. I was by myself in the ‘cottage’ which didn’t even have a deadbolt! For those reasons I could not stay there. Second bad experience with VRBO property so not waiting for strike three. I’m out and would not recommend this property. Vrbo kept Excessive fees and I was there one night! In an inexpensive place. Any hotel would have never done this. So the rest of my month I used hotels where I experienced wonderful customer service and always felt satisfied and safe.

Adorable place with designer touches

U can’t say enough good things about the Owners of this property. They were so hospitable, prompt in responding to my rental agreement and prompt in responding quickly to any texts or calls I made during my stay. The cabin was delightful!! It had designer touches that made you feel you were on the beach. It was very private and you had a wonderful deck and nice yard to enjoy. You could walk to the water from here and it’s so close to The Kemah Boardwalk, and near NASA and close to Galveston as well. I would definitely stay here again.

Quick stay

We stayed at this location for 3 days. Although we were hardly at the house due to other arrangements, when we were there it was great. Very welcoming and private. The only complaint I have if any is the shower nozzle was really finicky. Was pretty difficult to get it set right. Will definitely recommend and stay again when I'm in Galveston next year!
