One of the best places we ever stayed at

The rental house is an old water mill, fully renovated yet one can still see the old mill mechanic. The river still flows underneath, and you can both see it and hear it from the house, which is fantastic.La demeure en location est un ancien moulin complètement rénové ( mais tous les rouages et la mécanique du moulin sont encore visibles, en parfait état). On peut voir et entendre la rivière passer sous le moulin ce qui est très agréable. Two floors: downstairs one can find a huge kitchen with all needed amenities, and a nice living room; upstairs, 4 beautiful and large bedrooms with 2 nice bathrooms, including an in suite. Deux étages: en bad, une grande cuisine très bien équipée, et un grand salon; en haut, 4 chambres spacieuses avec 2 grandes salles de bains. The view on the Pyrénées from the second floor is amazing, with the Pic du midi on the right. La vue sur la chaîne des Pyrénées depuis le balcon a l’étage est incroyable.Finally, the owner, Jean-Paul, who is the water mill owner’s grandson is very nice; he greeted us upon arrival, did a quick tour of the property, giving us some background on his family and how the water mill operated. He also offered us a local cake. Finalement, Jean-Paul le propriétaire du moulin est extrêmement sympathique. Il nous a accueilli pour nous faire une visite rapide du moulin, son histoire et celle de sa famille. Il nous a aussi offert une tourte aux fruits locale. One of the best places we have been to.

Un logement atypique et très bien aménagé proche de toutes commodités

Une superbe découverte. Jean-Paul nous a très bien accueilli dans ce moulin parfaitement restauré. L'histoire du lieu est racontée avec passion par notre hôte, et les vestiges du passé bien présents renforcent le côté atypique de cette demeure. La cuisine est parfaitement aménagée, les chambres sont grandes, les salles d'eau très propres, et la vue sur le pic du midi resplendissante. La localisation dans Bagnères permet de faire les courses de première nécessité à pieds. Je recommande vivement, et réfléchie à une prochaine location. Merci Jean-Paul !

Excellent Mid-Winter Getaway

Our family of four enjoyed our week in February that we spent at this property. From the charm of the old mill, the sound of the water and the incredible view of the mountains....this house was incredible. Centrally located, this home has a boulongerie across the street and a grocery store five minutes walk down the road. The home accomodate our family and it would easily fit two 4-person families. We went on several day trips from this property and the surrounding mountains are incredible. Our host was wonderful and we slept well in the very comfortable beds. Beautiful open plan kitchen and everything we needed to cook at home each night. There is a reserved parking space in front of the house that would accomodate up to two cars.

Une location comme on les aime : vaste, tout confort, calme avec tous commerces à proximité. Le Moulin donne de l'originalité à l'endroit, et si soleil, un grand balcon face au Pic du Midi. Merci aux sympathiques propriétaires très disponibles pour toute information.

Confort du présent et charme du passé

Restauré avec soin, cet ancien moulin situé à l'entrée de Bagnères de Bigorre offre une vue spectaculaire sur le Pic du Midi. Il présente tous les avantages d'un équipement moderne harmonieusement combiné avec le charme d'une maison ancienne, spacieuse, qui a son jardin privé. Idéal pour un séjour en famille - avec une excellente boulangerie, juste en face. Rien n'y manque et l'accueil chaleureux du propriétaire contribue à se sentir immédiatement bienvenu.

Superbe location !

Gite spacieux et décoré avec goût. La présence du moulin donne un cachet particulier à cette maison très bien équipée et le jardin au bord de l'adourette est très agréable. Parfait !

Très agréable séjour

Nous avons été très bien accueillis Bagnères de bigorre est une petite ville sympathique et très bien située pour les ballades dans les Pyrénées. Pour les jours de pluie, balnéo et petit musée. La maison est très plaisante à vivre et bien équipée (sauf peut-être une machine à café à la hauteur du standing de la maison !) Nous sommes prêts à revenir

Wunderschöner Urlaub in einem wunderschönen Haus

Superschönes Haus, hochwertig renoviert, schön eingerichtet mit allem, was man braucht. Auch Gartenmöbel, Grill usw. sind vorhanden. Alles war sehr sauber. Wir alle haben uns in dieser Woche sehr wohl gefühlt und würden dieses Haus sofort wieder buchen. Vielen Dank an unsere netten Vermieter!

Séjour parfait !

Week-end très agréable au moulin de Minique ! Les hottes nous ont très bien accueilli malgré notre arrivée tardive et notre retard sur l'horaire de rendez-vous ! L'appartement est très grand pour 8 personnes, avec l'accès au jardin, aux deux terrasses face au pic du midi... splendide! Nous recommandons fortement ce logement, d'ailleurs nous y reviendrons à coup sûr !

Really impressive without being over the top.

Beautiful mill, plenty of space. We stayed for a week with three children to ski and there was certainly space for three more people. Nice to be close to town for a change with a couple of boulangeries within 50 yards and supermarkets within a few minutes drive. Our hosts were very welcoming and the neighbours were friendly and directed us to a fabulous restaurant within about 15 minutes walk on our last night. We're about to book for next year so as long as you avoid my week book for yourself you will not be disappointed :)

superbe moulin... super accueil!

M. et Mme Gracianet propose une location très commode et confortable. Le moulin a une histoire et M. Gracianet l'a connaît car le moulin de Minique était celui de son grand-père... Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable à 2 familles avec enfants. Nous comptons revenir!

Remarquable !

Ce gîte est remarquable à plusieurs titres : Le confort, le calme, l'espace disponible, les vastes pièces fonctionnelles, l'équipement. Le Moulin, superbement restauré et partie intégrante du gîte, unique ! L'emplacement, en centre-ville, tous commerces accessibles à pied... mais panorama imprenable sur le Pic du Midi tout de même ! A proximité immédiate de magnifiques balades et randonnées, et des stations. Enfin, l'accueil des propriétaires, chaleureux, disponibles, passionnés par l'histoire de ce gîte qu'ils vous feront partager. A recommander !

Séjour tout confort

Nous avons passé une semaine de Noël inoubliable en famille. La location est juste parfaite! Le moulin est vaste et permet à chacun d'avoir un espace indépendant. La qualité et la beauté de la finition font que nous nous sentons vraiment privilégiés dans cette location qui a un charme fou et un cachet unique. Tout le matériel de cuisine, les équipements, le chauffage sont très performants. Le moulin est calme, bien situé par rapport au centre ville, aux pistes, aux itinéraires de promenades. L'accueil a été très chaleureux ; les propriétaires nous ont fait partager leur passion pour cette maison et pour leur région! Je recommande vivement!!!

Wonderful Pyrenean holiday

Our family has holidayed in France for the past 11 years, and this was our first time in the Pyrenees. We chose the Moulin as it offered good quality accomodation in the centre of a reasonably sized town, whilst being close to many famous cycling 'cols'. We couldn't have been happier here - we had a wonderful holiday. The Moulin was perfect for us, and it would easilly have accomodated 6-8 people. The balcony with views of the Pic de Midi was an ideal place to enjoy a glass of wine and a read in the evening. Our teenage children were happy with the space they had in the Moulin, and the freedom to explore the nearby town. You're a 5 minute walk away from the town, with a wide variety of restaurants and cafes. There are 3 boulangeries within a 2 min walk, and an Intermarche within 10 mins walk. Jean Paul was a wonderful host, and came to our rescue when my wife left her iPad in the Gite ! We will return.....

Magnifique location

Nous recommendons chaudement cette location où nous avons passé une superbe semaine avec tout le confort possible (nous étions 9 personnes - 6 adultes et 3 enfants dont 1 bébé - merci encore pour l'équipement bébé gracieusement fourni). C'est une belle et spacieuse maison pleine de charme rénovée avec goût, très bien équipée, dont la partie moulin a également été préservée avec beaucoup de cachet. Idéalement située dans Bagnères, avec boulangerie et petit supermarché à quelques mètres de la maison. Accueil très chaleureux des propriétaires.

Fantastic unique property

We had a fantastic stay in this unique property. It really is an old mill so a small river runs underneath the property and there is a room with the old mill equipment. The rest of the property was really well maintained, very modern with a fully equipped kitchen and two large shower rooms, a third smaller shower with a toilet and a further toilet. There is a wonderful balcony over looking the mountains, and a large garden area, equipped with a BBQ should you have the weather. We had 4 of us staying and the accommodation was comfortably big enough, I guess if there were more of you another toilet may be useful. We were able two comfortably park our two cars on the private driveway. The town of Biggore is a little rough around the edges, not quite as nice as say Luchon but it was well serviced with many supermarkets lots of bakeries, two just across the road in fact, and a handful of restaurants. We certainly enjoyed our stay and if we were returning to the area in the future we were certainly contact Jean-Paul and his wife who were both wonderful hosts.

A lovely house with unique features

This house is even nicer than it looks on the website! It's got everything you need: well appointed kitchen, comfortable rooms, a lovely garden and a balcony with stunning views. Best of all, a babbling stream runs right underneath it. Luckily the room with the lovely old wooden mill equipment has been preserved: a piece of real history. All the bedrooms share the same mountain views. Great for cyclists and walkers, with all the famous mountains in easy reach.

Semaine agréable

Superbe maison, accueil très chaleureux par les propriétaires. Nous avons séjournés à 4 adultes et 4 enfants dans cette spacieuse maison sans aucun problème. Tout le nécessaire à portée de main (boulangerie, centre commercial, marché, etc....).

Location parfaite

Maison chaleureuse et familiale, on se sent vite à l'aise et comme chez nous. Beaucoup de charme pour ce moulin rénové avec goût et authenticité, ou rien ne manque. Propriétaires accueillants, conviviaux, passionnés par l'histoire de leur moulin familial, de bons conseils pour de bonnes adresses. Location idéale pour un séjour réussi à la montagne.
