“A truly wonderful hidden gem on the French countryside not too far away from Calais. The hosts have created a unique experience in their old farm house with a beautiful large garden even with their own hedge maze in the back garden. Pet friendly, cozy place, comfortable bed in a well equipped room with brick walls and nice decorations both in and outside. Breakfast is served in the conservatory in the main house. Chickens and ducks walk freely around. We loved it!”

“This was actually the worst hotel night I ever have had. And I have spent thousands of nights on hotel over the years. The room and bathroom were spacious and good. However the ventilation in the room was non existent. The room temperature was 25 C!! And NO WAY of cooling the room. The control for aircon not working. Why the control needs to be so bright as a headlight in the room is also a mystery? This was not up to Best Western standard and not a 4 Star Hotel. ”

“This hotel offers a very personal level of service run by a young couple. Communication from Thomas was excellent. The Chateau is located in a small village . Parking was plentiful. The rooms have plenty of character and are large and spacious. However the mattress on the bed was a bit hard for me personally. As a suggestion, a foam mattress topper might be a good idea. We were offered a 3 course meal which we took advantage of especially following a 6 hour drive from Colmar. The dinner was...
