“Had a lovely stay, staff very friendly, clean spacious room, lovely bed - really comfy! Great breakfast, a lot of choice and it was delicious!!”

“A private home from the 16th century with a very welcoming host and hostess. Marketed as "luxury B&B", and that's an apt description. The drawback is that it's located between villages, so any dinner requires a drive (and therefore no beer or wine). Personally, I'd had a big lunch and a tiring drive through the Yorkshire Dales, so I skipped dinner.”
