Un petit coin de paradis
Le gîte correspond parfaitement à la description faite sur Abritel. Pour deux personnes, il est confortable et calme. Au niveau équipement intérieur il ne manque rien. Des allumettes au micro-ondes, du tire-bouchon au lave-vaisselle, tout y est. Nous n'avons pas pu tester les équipements extérieurs car notre week-end a été très pluvieux. De même les poules nous ont fait une grève du zèle et nous n'avons pas pu malheureusement manger des oeufs frais mais ceci est vraiment anecdotique. L'accueil des hôtes est plus que parfait, leur "léger" accent anglais dépayse totalement et leurs présents est une attention tout a fait notable. Donc adresse à noter pour tout ceux et celles qui souhaitent passer un moment en campagne loin des tumultes de la ville.

Whistle Stop Stay
Lovely, comfortable little gem of a gîte! Peaceful and welcoming. Good reception on TV. Kitchen was very good too. Lovely to wake up to farm yard sounds, curtesy of goats, hens and cockerels. We’re coming back!

Escapade rurale parfaite !
Un grand merci à Trish pour son accueil et toutes ses attentions tout au long de notre court séjour. Le cottage est hyper mignon et très fonctionnel. La literie est super confortable on y dort tellement bien jusqu'au chant du coq ! Animaux à proximité, c'est exactement ce que l'on recherchait, un vrai dépaysement pour des citadins mais avec tout le confort :-)

Home sweet home
Très belle petite maison pour 2 en pleine campagne confortable et très bien équipée. On est comme à la maison. Point idéal pour découvrir les Alpes Mancelles. Trish et Dean les propriétaires sont très accueillants et attentionnés.

Wat we zochten hebben we gevonden ; de rust en de stilte . Ver van het drukke leven , wel met geiten en kippen . Wandelparadijs en genoeg bezienswaardigheden zonder heel ver te moeten rijden (max. 1 uur) Heel vriendelijke huiseigenaars als buur .

Cosy ,comfotable and relaxing gite.
Even though the weather was not kind to us, often raining, the gite was a wonderful place to be. Sung in bed with a view of the storms or feet up by the fire, it was great. It's in a good central location for laval, Mayenne and Alencon and the various sites around. It's also great if you just want the wonderful countryside and locl markets to explore. Dean and Trish were on hand but never intrusive. Overall a really good gite in a good location.

Petite and nice
We had a lovely stay in this little Gite. We go out and about touring and exploring history all day so this met our needs perfectly. Trisha was the perfect host, so friendly and helpful and she left us to ourselves once she had greeted us. We loved the wine she gave us but I forgot to ask her what it was so I could buy more !

Trish was extremely helpful and the gite was lovely. She gave great advice about the local area and we had a tremendous stay and walking in the area. I cannot recommend this place enough, we are sure to return.

A retreat away from it all
Home from home very clean would definitely recomend if you want a peacefull holiday but near enough to lovely places to drive to. Trish & Dean are perfect hosts always there if you need them

Cozy gite, relaxing atmosphere
This is a lovely little gite, perfect for two people. It’s amazingly quiet and a peaceful locale to relax. There are lots of nice hidden historical gems in the surrounding area to explore, as well as quaint villages and lovely nature areas. The owners provided a nice welcome basket with staples and there were fresh eggs from the chickens. Highly recommend!

A wonderful place to relax and tour the Mayenne Valey at your own pace!
First, the Stone cottage was just perfect! Everything we saw online was exceeded by the reality! It is obvious that Trish & Dean put their heart and soul into making a warm & cozy place to relax. The workmanship is fantastic and the location lent itself to seeing everything from the Normandy coast to the midevil castles and chateaux in the surrounding countryside. We were privileged to be invited into the main house which had undergone a similar transformation from the cow barn it had been.....beautiful! Most of all the hosts made the stay worthwhile. Although we did not get to meet Dean, the time spent talking with Trish made our last day a perfect end to a perfect trip to 🇫🇷 France!

Very comfortable accommodation in a peaceful location. We couldn't fault it!
We stayed only four days but thoroughly enjoyed our holiday. The cottage was very comfortable with everything provided including fresh eggs each day from the resident hens, and the goats were a constant source of amusement. Trish was an excellent hostess who did not intrude at all on our privacy but it was reassuring to know that she was there.

Beautiful cottage, wonderful hosts
If you love the peace and quiet of rural life then La Ronciniere is the perfect place to relax and unwind. The cottage is beautifully decorated and has everything you need, including an amazingly comfortable bed. The outside space is private and the goats and chickens provide great entertainment. The nearest town is small but the Boulangerie sold the most delicious croissants which were perfect for breakfast. Many larger towns are a short distance away and there are a number of traditional French markets to wander round. Dean and Trish were fantastic hosts who were very unobtrusive, but there if you needed them. This is one place we would happily return to.

Un lugar ideal de vacaciones.
Hemos pasado dos maravillosas semanas disfrutando de esta casa tan acogedora así como de la bonita zona. Hay bastantes pueblos medievales para visitar a tan sólo media hora en coche. La habitación en la planta de arriba es preciosa con un pequeño balcón desde el que se pueden ver bellos atardeceres. La casa está bien equipada y es muy agradable observar a las gallinas y las dos cabras al otro lado de la valla. Lo de ir a recoger los huevos y tomarlos frescos es una gran experiencia. Dean and Trish son encantadores y nos gustaba mucho charlar y reír con ellos. Mil gracias por todo.

It was an absolute pleasure to host Rufino and Maribel. They were both polite, communicative and fun. They respected our home and the surroundings. It was a joy to meet them and we hope to welcome them back again to La Ronciniere!

A little piece of Heaven in the Mayenne Countryside!
My time here was just wonderful! Trish was a lovely, friendly hostess! The home was so cute and well furnished - all the comforts of home. I loved the tranquility and could have spent more time soaking up the fresh air and enjoying the sights that are will within easy driving distance of the home! When I am back this way, I will certainly make it a point to stay here again.

Excellent, peaceful rural stay.
My Husband and I stayed in this delightful converted barn surrounded by fields, peace and bird song. The barn has everything that you need for the stay, a comfortable bed, a well equipped kitchen and bathroom, nice outside space with a bbq and many beautiful places to visit all within less than an hours drive. Trish explained everything, was really friendly, welcoming and gave us ideas of places to visit. We collected fresh eggs from the chickens and enjoyed watching them through the fence. The supermarket is 5 mins drive away and the village has a bakery too with delicious cakes. I would thoroughly recommend a stay in this rural brn cute barn. Thank you Trish very much

A wonderful place with amazing hosts
We (40s couple) stayed in Bais for a week and we absolutely enjoyed it. Although the cottage itself looks small from outside, it is very cosy and there is enough space there for two people. Kitchen is well-equipped, dining table is large and the armchairs beside the electric fireplace are welcoming. Bedroom is nice, bed is extremely comfy. The only backside is that you will not want to get out of it, which would be shame... Garden is small but you still can BBQ there or sit outside when it is sunny. Our hosts, Trish and Dean, were friendly, open and helpful, we seriously are considering of going back to visit them. The surrounding landscape is beautiful and the local people are friendly. Village is small but still with all the necessary amenities. Both Bais and neighbouring villages have nice old buildings, restaurants and bars with great, local atmosphere. Plenty of walks and nature around. If you want to have a relaxed holiday, away from city rush, this is your place.

Wonderful place!
Though small, the house has everything you need, if you're lucky even fresh eggs, from your "own" chickens, every day. Trish is a friendly and helpful host (we didn't see Dean). The surroundings are peaceful and (for the odd cry of the rooster) quiet. This is a definite no-stress area, if ever there was one. The region was unknown to us, and though is had no very well-known sights, there are some nice towns and castles to visit, also Le Mans isn't too far away.

La Ronciniere - May 2017
We were looking for a location that was completely rural and peaceful, yet close enough to a few larger towns and family that were also staying in the area. This little converted one bed stable delivered on all counts. The owners are next door and will help you with anything you need and answer all your questions. You can even collect your own eggs from the chicken coop in the morning. The accommodation has everything you would want at home, e.g. washing machine and dishwasher. Dean and Trish's relaxed and helpful way made La Ronciniere a place that we would love to go back to.

CHILLED OUT COUNTRY LIVING!
La Ronciniere was just what we needed for a chill spot after a hectic two month tour of Europe. Quiet (except for the quaint sounds of farmland), peaceful, charming, all those pleasant adjectives that describe bucolic surroundings. The village was less than 2 miles away and provided all the basic needs. Fresh breads daily, great veg and meats, all within a 5 minute drive. Dozens of other small villages, immaculately kept, within an easy 10-20 minute drive provided points, of interest, local events, markets and relaxing drives throughout the countryside. Lots to do or not every day. English cable TV provide plenty to watch including many U.S. shows. High speed internet was fantastic. Able to stream Netflix and sports events with no problem. Kitchen has all you need if you like to cook. We had great fun kicking back at the cottage, taking a walk across the countryside - with magnificent views and cattle grazing - or sharing a glass of wine and some gnosh with the "landlords" on their patio. It truly made for a totally relaxing stay. Dean & Trish were absolutely the best landlords we had during our entire 3 month adventure. They are most circumspect about your privacy - or are happy to engage over snacks and wine - and are so much fun to be around! We feel like we've made lifetime friends. We are planning another trip next year with La Ronciniere as the focal point!

Cosy barn in quiet surrounding
This is a perfect place to stop the time for a bit and find the peace you are looking for when you are on holiday. We had a very nice welcome by Dean and Trish, which showed us the house and gave us valuable tips for the surroundings and activities to do during your stay. Even though it's a very quiet environment, you've got everything you need in the village nearby. The barn itself has everything you need and is in fine condition. We enjoyed it a lot and we are sure other people will too. We also think it's a valuable addition that Dean and Trish are nearby so you can speak English in France, this way you will always have someone to go to when you need it.

Truly a hidden gym! A fairy tale like cottage in a beautiful settingwith all the modern amenities.
A wonderful experience in the heart of the French countryside. Beautiful scenery, comfortable accommodations. There is plenty to do and see nearby and the hosts have put together a wonderful book of recommendations with valuable info to make your stay even better. So relaxing! My wife calls it her fairy tale home. Dean and Trish were the friendliest hosts we have come across staying with Home Away or Airbnb. We did not want to leave, but had to due to our holiday itinerary. We highly recommended this listing and would return in a heartbeat when we return to France in the future.
