Välkommen till Dreamaway Cottage på Bald Head Island

Dreamaway Cottage är ditt paradis hemifrån! Detta 3 sovrum, 3 och ett halvt badrum hemma ligger i Surfman's Walk, som ligger i Cape Fear Station. Vi har totalrenoverat vårt hem och är mycket stolta över att göra det till din speciella semesterplats. Nedervåningen har vi ett kök, matsal, vardagsrum (bäddsoffa) och halvt badrum. På övervåningen ingår en master svit med en king size-säng och gäst sovrum sviten har två queen sängar. Vi har också ett extra sovrum (crofter) ovanför 2 vagn garage. Dessa är en drottning och två enkelsängar samt ett komplett badrum. Crofter ligger några steg från huset. Vi har två verandor, som båda är skärmad. Vi njuter av många morgnar och kvällar som tittar på vilda djur från vår egen trädgård. När det gäller ytterligare bekvämligheter har vi en 4 och en 6-sitsig golfvagn, strandutrustning, badhanddukar, Wii, Wifi och en uppvärmd utomhusdusch. Vi har också tillgång till båda klubbarna och tillfälliga medlemskort kan köpas för din vistelse. Vi vet att du kommer att njuta av vårt hem så mycket som vi gör!

Perfect Spot for Race Weekend

This is my second time staying at this house, and I absolutely love it. It's clean, comfortable, and has everything I need for a stress-free stay. The best part? It’s only a 5-minute walk to the Badwater Cape Fear race finish line, super convenient, especially after a long race. I plan to keep coming back every March. Highly recommended!runners or anyone visiting the area!

Dreamaway Stay

When we arrived the cleaning staff was still finishing their work. The place was cheerful and nice. The few things we had problems with were, the dryer didn’t work. A repair person came out but he said the control panel was shot. He told me I could have the staff at the island was and fry clothes for me. It was helpful but I waited for clothes and especially towels to get cleaned. The dishwasher broke while we were there and that was repaired, the shower in the crofter wasn’t working when we arrived. A plumber fixed it 2 days late, and not this was a huge deal but there was no ironing board. We did enjoy the place once some of the problems were fixed. The workers on the island were kind and did the best they could to make our stay as good as it could be.

Perfect!!!

Back Again

We like this property and location enough to have come back for the second year in a row. One of the batteries is not charging the golf carts well so we informed the property manager. They have stated they will look into it tomorrow. When we had an issue last visit, they were out to resolve it within the hour.

Island Getaway

This property was perfect for 3 couples enjoying a weekend getaway. The house is beautifully furnished and stocked with everything we needed. Managing reservations and contact with property manager could not be easier. Would love to come back.

Wonderful stay

This is our 2nd time in this home. Location is perfect. Easy walk or cart to the beach and you can hear the surf from both porches. Comfortable living room and kitchen. Beds were excellent. Would stay here again for sure!

LOVE! Never wanted to leave!

We have stayed in perhaps half a dozen homes here & this is still my fave. It’s got some kind of feeling in it that says “home.” We felt very comfortable even from the first 5 minutes in the house. Very clean, comfortable beds, big kitchen/dining, kin a cute subivision. Highly recommend!!

Wonderful House

We (family of 5 with teens) really enjoyed the house and the extra room over the garage. It was perfectly located with golf cart access to all places. We also enjoyed using the provided bikes to spin around the roads throughout our area. BHI is a wonderful island and we will definitely return soon!!

Dreamaway Cottage really IS a DREAM!

The house is gorgeously decorated and well-stocked. There are two golf carts and bikes to use. We absolutely loved everything about our stay! This house is a total gem.

Great property

We have rented many properties at BHI and this property was one of our favorites. We loved the location to the Shoals Club and the beach. It was very suited for our family of four and the kitchen was stocked nicely. It was well furnished and finished well with decor. We enjoyed our stay!

Cozy cottage, great location!

This our second time staying at Dream Away Cottage. We appreciate the short distance to the beach and to the Shoals Club. We like the decor and we had everything we needed for cooking in a lot. The cottage was very clean except the second bathroom shower is showing some age ( mildew in several areas).

Great stay in the forest

We absolutely loved staying here. The house was gorgeous and clean. We had no issues. I'd never stayed in the forest area before and always stayed closer to beach - but I LOVED staying here. The front porch on the house is awesome. Enjoyed coffee there every morning. We traveled as a family of 5 and my husband and I stayed in the master and my 3 boys stayed in the room with 2 double beds and it was perfect. We didn't use the crofter but we walked into just to check it out and there is a musty odor to it. I didn't bother us because no one slept there during our trip. I would definitely stay at this house again!!!! We had a great time.
