The cottage contained most things we needed and instructions from the property manager we’re clear and accurate. It was great to be able to self cater as if at home. “Our family of 4 spent 6 nights at this lovely place and had a great time. Good location - we were able to explore the area (Balleek Forest, Westport, WAW coast) but you would need a car. Both are wonderful units in a beautiful and idyllic setting with excellent access to hiking trails, restaurants, and a variety of local sites. The units were clean and fully equipped and Sheila made the check in extremely easy and responded quickly to any questions we had. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend Aughris House and Annex to others!”

“We were expecting the unrivaled scenery of Ireland. But to be able explore from a cozy remodeled police station was icing on the cake. Every room was clean and well stocked right down to the wood and coal for the fireplace. The hostess was warm and so helpful. We felt like we had known her forever.
