Fem stjärnor, guldklassificering. Sovplatser 2-4 vuxna. Kan kombineras med Chestnut Cottage för att sova 6 via intern dörr för att direkt ansluta till Cobnut. Perfekt för större familjer.

Solid Elm golvbrädor nere, solida Oak golvbrädor på övervåningen med mattor hela. Rymligt vardagsrum med öppen planlösning och stort matbord i massivt Elm med fantastisk utsikt. Nedervåning toalett och tvättmaskin-torktumlare. Insläppta verandan.

Cobnut, med sitt boende över två våningar och med två separata badrum, är en favorit hos familjer och vänner. Denna stuga har fantastisk utsikt över dalen och in på gården.

En rymlig entré veranda leder in i vardagsrummet med en vacker massiv elm golv, kvalitet soffa och fåtöljer och öppen spis. Till höger genom en vacker elm dörr finns en liten garderob med luftrum, tvättmaskin och nedre toalett. Matsalen med underbar utsikt över fälten och dalen, har ett stort refektorybord i fast elm som kan sitta upp till 8 personer. I anslutning till matsalen finns det ekramade köket som har en granitplatta och rostfritt stålbeslag med all modern utrustning.

En vacker, solid aska öppen trappstege med ekpanel till sidan leder till 2 ensuite sovrum. Det främre rummet med utsikt över innergården har ett utsökt duschrum med synlig stenmur, venetiansk marmorplattor och ekpanel med elektronisk strömdusch. Det bakre sovrummet ser ut över dammen och dalen bortom och eget badrum som nås genom frostat glaspaneldörrar har venetiansk marmorplattor och ett djupt ekpanelbad.

Båda sovrummen har massiva ekgolv, gott om förvaring och handgjorda lövträdssängar som kan ordnas antingen som 2 enkelsängar eller zip kopplade ihop för att göra super dubbla dubbelsängar. Högsta kvalitet fast madrasser och vackra sängkläder från egyptisk bomull gör för mycket bekväma nätter.

Chilled out stay

Excellent 4 day break in a lovely cobnut cottage in a lovely setting very good for visiting all the places nearby unfortunately Blenheim palace was closed only in a very nice part off the Cotswold for a stay cottage was immaculate with beautiful furniture and fixings would recommend it as a place to stay

Heath Farm Cottages are very quaint and beautiful. In the Cotswald countryside! Very lovely property. The finishes and details of the cottages are outstanding!

Lovely accommodation beautifully fitted out

We have stayed a number of times in Cobnut and have thoroughly enjoyed our holidays there. The setting is great with amenities from hot tub to badminton and other sports available. The surrounding area is also lovely as are some of the pubs and cafes two being in Great Tew only 3 miles from the farm.

A beautifully presented cottage.

Thoroughly enjoyed staying in Cobnut. Impressed by the attention to detail, from the decor to the well stocked kitchen and the generous supply of logs for the fire. The Aslan doors are a wonderful feature in the entrance hall. Felt very welcomed and valued as a guest by the hosts and would highly recommend.

Central Location

This was our six stay at Heath Farm. Each stay at a Heath Farm cottage was excellent. Cobnut was spacious and comfortable. There were plenty of walking paths some easy and moderate others challenging. Heath Farm is a central location with easy access to shopping in Banbury and local villages.

Heaven on Earth

We were 2 couples that enjoyed separate en-suite bedrooms and cannot recommend highly enough this place!!! The setting, the surrounding landscapes, the level of cleanliness and facilities, the unbelievable attention to details, the owners’ impeccable service, it was really Heaven on Earth!!! A haven of peace and a fine base for exploring the area.

Lovely location. Very comfortable and well appointed accommodation. Quiet and peaceful. I appreciated being able to use electric charging point on-site: most convenient. The whole set-up at this site with five cottages was impressive and obviously carefully thought-through. Lovely grounds to wander in around the property. Plenty of interesting places to visit nearby. Strongly recommended.

Highly Recommended!

This charming cottage was everything we hoped for and more--beautiful, roomy, and welcoming. We loved strolling through as much of the 70 acres of paths and gardens as we could. There is even a pond where you can feed the fish. A fire in the fireplace on chilly nights was a lovely end to a day in the Cotswolds. Perfection!

Relaxing Retreat

Cobnut is a cosy ,comfortable cottage with beautiful views out onto the Oxfordshire countryside. It had everything we needed for a relaxing long weekend visiting the Cotswolds and the theatre in Stratford. The cottage is situated in a very peaceful location and we enjoyed seeing the wildlife including muntjac deer. Thank you for the welcome goodies. This was our second stay at Cobnut and we hope to return again soon.

Perfection in a nutshell

Having first stayed at Heath Farm with my own parents many years ago, it was a really pleasure to bring my own children here. Our second visit in two years. The Barbour family are exceptional hosts. Thoroughly recommend Cobnut cottage, especially the enchanting Narnia wardrobe and stunning views. The grounds are breathtaking. Wholeheartedly recommend.

The friendliest goats!

We've stayed here before so knew what to expect, and yet again we had a wonderful holiday. David, Nina and the team seem to have thought of everything from the well stocked games room, to the well designed accommodation and the plentiful activities across the farm. This year they introduced goats which were so adorable our children didn't want to leave them. Cobnut overlooks a sheep and goat paddock, the well stocked trout lake and the forest and hills beyond, it really is majestic from early morning to sunset. We've already booked next years stay...

Peaceful getaway

This was our fourth visit to Heath farm. It is a little gem for those wanting some peace and to recharge from city life. It is the epitome of calmness and serenity. Cleverly placed windows from each cottage allow a guest amazing views around the farm, privacy and a sense of connection with nature. The orchard, chicken and play room are our favourite things to do with our four year son.

Relaxing Cotswold stay

Cobnut cottage is located in the grounds of Heath Farm in a picturesque landscaped garden with trickling waterfall and plenty of seating areas available .Pleasant woodland walks available from the doorstep too.The interior is extremely well appointed,Excellent quality furnishings ,lovely wood fire and logs (freely available) and spotlessly clean.Self catering is made easy as plenty of quality crockery,glassware,and cookware.The owners are very friendly and professional and always pleasant and easy to chat with.The website is easy to follow and walk through video is available for the cottage to give you a perfect tour before accessing the simple and easy to use booking system .

No place better!

What can I say that I haven't said before? This was our seventh stay at Heath Farm, and each visit is lovelier than the last. We spent a month exploring the farm, the National Trust properties and other estates and gardens nearby, the local villages and parks. The setting, location, and amenities are ideal for couples or families. Our weather was perfect - only one brief rainstorm the entire stay. David, Nena, Mon, and Abi, as well as Mel, Jenny, and the rest of the staff, all work so hard to make their guests comfortable and happy, yet they are unobtrusive and leave you in peace to discover the place on your own. You can do as much or as little as you like. Watching the lambs and goats frolic on the lawns is endlessly entertaining. If it weren't such a long journey, we'd visit more often! Thank you to everyone at Heath Farm for making our stay so relaxing and satisfying. You know we'll be back!

Bliss in the Cotswolds

This was our sixth visit to Heath Farm - honestly, we'd live there, if they'd have us! The property is so comfortable, accommodating, beautiful, warm, and welcoming. Unbelievably, this was the first time I viewed their Games Room: spectacular! Especially if you have rainy days, bored kids, time on your hands. On this visit we stayed 10 days and could have spent a month. There is so much to see and do in the area and the location at Heath Farm is ideal for touring. We had two excellent and celebratory dinners at The Boxing Hare, which is just a few yards down the road. We ordered three loaves of bread from Mark's Cotswold Bakery which is right on the premises. I am actually reluctant to post this positive review because I don't want EVERYONE to discover our magical place in the Cotswolds. The Barbours are exemplary land stewards and it is a privilege to stay at their farm, and in a small way, contribute to what they add to Oxfordshire.

Beautiful Cobnut

Cobnut is a beautiful cottage in the corner of an amazing courtyard and we especially loved all of the handmade wooden features. The cottage had everything we needed for a very comfortable holiday, and we both slept very well, which is a plus for me. Cobnut has a lovely outside seating area in the corner of the courtyard, although there are many other places that you can relax, in and around the courtyard and gardens. The weather was glorious for our week, and with the cobbled courtyard with its gorgeous flowers and herbs, and the water feature cascading down the centre, we could have imagined we were in Italy or Spain. Heath Farm cottages are in beautiful surroundings, with a lake full of trout, and a field with some very friendly sheep and goats in. The owners, whose home is one side of the courtyard, were extremely welcoming and friendly. We were welcomed by Mon, who showed us around the cottage and pointed out the gardens, outdoor games etc that are there for guests to use. We also fed the trout in the lake and were encouraged to use the boat, or fish if we wanted, although we were happy just to feed the trout from the jetty.
