Charming hotel by the river.
Charming hotel by the river. Perfect for romantic weekend and go to palace and tempels. Very good service from staff.

Bra hotell nära floden
Mycket trevligt hotell nära floden. Personalen var hjälpsam och mycket trevlig, och tillmötesgående. Rummet renligt och snyggt liksom korridorer och allmänna utrymmen. Hotellets skick utmärkt. WiFi fungerarde bra (som dessutom var gratis). Läget, nära till templet Wat Pho (med vilande Buddha) och Grand Palace. På andra sidan templet Wat Arun. Inte långt ifrån marknad för blomster (varje weekend, sades det). Inga problem med att gå sent på kvällar i området. Vi hade ingen orsak att känna någotslags osäkerhet eller obehag. (Fanns då vi var där, dessutom vakter vid väg till hotellet och vid huvudväg.) Finns flera restauranger i området med relativt beskedlig prisnivå. Kom gärna överens om pris i förväg när man väljer taxi, och isynnerhet om man önskar åka med Tuc-tuc. Fanns "fixare" och "hjälpare" på huvudväg som har olika slags "råd" (förslag på dagsschema, turer och sevärdheter, med mera), men deras motivation verkar mest vara att tjäna pengar på turisterna.

En pärla
Lobby/reception ger en känsla av att vara hemma i någons vardagsrum. Hotellet ger en väldigt mysig känsla, personalen är supertrevlig och pratar dessutom bra engelska. Rummen är bra, allt funkar och är helt och rent - städningen är exemplarisk, jättefina badrum. Jättefin utsikt över floden (bokade riverview room). Det är ett litet hotell (bara 12 rum tror jag) så det finns ingen restaurang att beställa mat från vid behov, men finns ett cafe precis bredvid. Frukosten (varma delen) beställs dagen innan och äts vid cafeet bredvid. Finns ingen buffefrukost vilket är förståligt med så få rum men frukosten var helt ok. Läget är bra, lugnt ner mot floden. Vill man ha mat finns det streetfood på huvudgatan 50-100 meter upp från floden, även 7/11 där. Restauranger finns om man går lite på huvudgatan mot Wat Po. Nära till Wat Po, Grand Palace, Museum of Siam m.m. Chinatown är det bara att ta en tuktuk eller taxi så tar det 10 minuter, pir till "flodbuss" finns 10 min bort. Ett riktigt bra litet hotell med härlig känsla och trevlig personal. Glöm inte gå upp på taket och titta på utsikten, speciellt på kvällstid. Rekommenderas

The Aurum was the perfect lowkey spot along the river to relax in Bangkok. It is quiet and clean and provides a perfect respite near the temples to escape the heat. It is within walking distance to Wat Pho and to the MRT subway line to get around town and to Chatuchat Weekend Market. Pan, the lovely hostess, saw that I was a woman traveling alone and looked after me with a watchful eye. Breakfast was included and served at outside tables along the river with a beautiful view of Wat Arun. They also arranged a taxi to the airport. Will definitely stay here again!

Excellent hotel and staff especially Pan who went out of her way to help with whatever we needed. It is very convenient to the attractions including sunset view of Wat Arun. The location of the breakfast cafe on the river is beautiful and very serene in the morning. You cannot see Wat Arun from hotel as most of the view is blocked by another building in front. You can see it from cafe.

We were so happy we chose Aurum The River Place for our stay in Bangkok. The location in Old Town was perfect! Wat Arun is located directly across the river and accessible via a very inexpensive ferry ride. Once at Wat Arun you can catch a hop-on/hop-off ferry to many other stops (Chinatown, IconSiam mall, et cetera). The Grand Palace and Wat Pho (reclining buddha) are also within walking distance of Aurum The River Palace. Lots of great food choices nearby. The included breakfast was excellent and served by Pan and her team at an adjacent riverside cafe every morning. This was a great choice for our first stop in Thailand! Highly recommend.

GREAT Location. Walking distance to Grand Palace and reclining Buddha. Decent resturants in area but be on notice you should make reservations. The. Management is fabulous. The house. Manager is a real gem and she seems to never take a break. She is always there and has a lovely disposition.

Petit hôtel familial bien placé au bord de la rivière et des principaux monuments. Par contre la chambre sentait le renfermé la première nuit donc obligé de laisser la chambre s’aérer et la chambre pas nettoyée tous les jours ou en fin d’après-midi.

River Gem!
This little hotel was fabulous! Within walking distance to major temples and good restaurants! The staff there made our trip very enjoyable, especially Pan, who arranged all our tours for us!

This place is a gem! Perfect for walking to the must sees of Bangkok. Beautiful colonial type building. But the real treasure is with the wonderful staff. One lovely lady in particular took care of us as my mother would have. Highly recommend!

Great Stay
We had a wonderful stay at Aurum The River Place. From the moment you walk in you are made to feel at home. Pam and her ladies are amazing. They provide the best customer service. Pam is always available to answer any and all questions and provides helpful information. The rooms are kept very clean. The breakfast is delicious. Our room was spacious and quiet. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. We had a great view from our balcony. Great showers. The hotel is centrally located. It is walking distance to many tourist attractions, delicious restaurants, ferry, even a running track for exercising. We would definitely stay here again and again.

What a good experience with this hotel,clean, comfortable, by the River, good view, very close to the tourist spot ,very beautiful little restaurant by the water to breakfast every morning, bed and pillow is soooo comfy esp I have a neck problem but pillow is sooo good, slept well, very quiet and it is the gem here. Couple good restaurants by the river in the area, very delicious food. Very close to SkyTrain station, about 7 mins walk from hotel. We feel welcome, supported, and well taken care by Pam, love her so much, she has a warm heart and lovely smile every time we see her, the whole team work so hard with great warm smile all the time. Overall no complain at all, all we want to say is we will come back sgain

You will feel like you are at home staying here. Services is beyond 5 stars. Don’t waste money staying elsewhere. Perfect location also and too notch customer services. I will only stay here when in Bangkok.

The hotel is less than 10 min walk to Metro Blue Line (use exit 5) and Rajinee Pier where you can get the hop on hop off ferry to Wat Arun, the Grand Palace, Khao San Road, IconSiam, Asiatique, and other places. It is on a quiet side street near the flower market which is lovely. Room was spacious with excellent A/C. Breakfast is at the adjacent cafe which is right on the river and nice for watching all the boat traffic, with a beautiful view of Wat Arun. The Thai Breakfast was excellent. Service at the hotel was outstanding. I would recommend this hotel if you don’t mind that the neighborhood isn’t “upscale” - it’s so convenient to transit and many things to see and do.

5 star Experience
Our 3 night stay in October was very pleasant. The Manager is very kind, engaging, comunicative, eager to help, and professional. The room and moring-restuarants were great. Room preparation was excellent. Every service was excellent, for example, vehicle services(to airport) and give a directions(to tourist attraction) was excellent. The manager communicated with us in English and made sure we were always well cared for. This is something we noticed, appreciated and discussed during our visit to Bangkok. We have stayed in locations around the beautiful river. We are very happy and have already decided we would stay here again. You made a great impression. Thank you Ploy.

정말 좋았어요. 조용하고 짜오프라야 보이고! 왓아룬은 객실에서는 안보였어요! 그래두 넘 좋았습니다. 원래 리뷰 안남기는데~ 여기 직원들이 너무*100 친절하세요. 그리고 조식은 처음에 뷔페가 아니라 아쉽다고 생각했었는데, 뷔페보다 훨씬 나아요. 2일 여기서 묵고 수쿰빗 지역으로 옮겨서 호텔 조식뷔페 먹었는데 맛없어서 아우룸호텔 생각이 많이 났어요. 아침 잘 먹으니까 점심, 저녁 대충 먹어도 괜찮았어요. 왓포, 왓아룬, 왕궁 다 가까워서 도보로 가능합니다. 아침 일찍 관광 하고 점심에 들어가서 낮잠 잤더니 넘 좋더라구요! 카오산도 가까워요! 다시 오면 여기 또 묵을라구요

Muy buena ubicación. Cercano a Wat Pho, al Palacio Real, al Museo Nacional, a los puertos del río. El personal es muy amable y siempre está interesado en ayudarte y darte muy buenos consejos. El hotel está en muy buen estado. Excelente relación precio y calidad.

This was a fantastic place for our layover. The hotel's driver picked us up from the airport with no fuss, the lady that ran the place was incredibly kind and made us sandwiches to take to the airport the next morning. We stayed in room 201 which had a view of the river and large windows. We were able to walk to War Po temple for sightseeing and a fabulous restaurant for dinner which overlooked the Palace. Great position. Incredibly convenient. A great stay.

This is a beautiful hotel in a very walkable area, close to the Palace, Wat Pho, and the ferry that takes you to Wat Arun. That being said, the real treasure is Pan, or as we like to call her Auntie Pan. Auntie Pan really makes your stay truly special, and i know it may sound cliché, but it really did feel we were staying with family. She is a wealth of information, and will happily guide and arrange things for you, as an auntie would. Its easy to find hotels close to the sights, or with gorgeous rooms and amenities, but Auntie Pan is truly the number one reason, i would suggest someone to stay here. Thank you Auntie !!!

A charming hotel situated on the river in a quiet road but within easy reach of both a pier for river travel and the metro in addition to being close to the Grand Palace and Wat Pho. All the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and at home and were always there to help with any questions we had about the city. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay.

Excelente estadia. Funcionárias super atenciosas que sabem inglês. Quarto ótimo, limpo, confortável. Só o chuveiro que tinha umas falhas no fluxo de água, diminuia e aumantava o fluxo toda hora e não esquentava muito. Café da manhã muito bom, você escolhe no dia anterior o que vai comer. Não é buffet, mas vem bem servido e é feito na hora, mas demora um pouco para ficar pronto, pois é feito por ordem de chegada do hóspede no café da manhã. Tem opção Tailandesa ou Americana. Localização excelente perto do Wat Pho e do Grand Palace, pode-se ir a pé em poucos minutos. No terraço a noite pode-se ver os templos ( wat Aurum e outros) iluminados, muito maravilhoso.

Walking distance to many sights, great staff!
This hotel is very conveniently located to Wat Po, Wat Pra Kaew, and Wat Arun, so you can walk or ferry to all these major tourist attractions. The staff all speak English very well, and I loved the Thai breakfast that they offer every day. The best view of the river is from the breakfast area, I think if I stayed here again I wouldn't spend extra for a river view room as the view is mostly blocked by the building in front. But we had a lovely time and would stay here again!

部屋はサイトに記載のある通り川が見える部屋で景色は良かった。綿棒のアメニティもリクエストしたら翌日には直ぐに揃えてもらえた。朝食を川沿いのレストランでとれれば尚良かった。
