Hotel okej for sure but got fooled on 10000 on the second night and they blamed me which is funny because i asked about the price a lot of times before extending for one night. Got no help at all from the receptionist.

Lyxigt, modernt hotell med riktigt bra service
Det bästa med SO/ Bangkok har varit deras service innan och under resan. Vi drabbades av flygförseningar, vilket skapade problem med vårt thaipass och bokning av den obligatoriska limousineservicen och PCR-test, men hotellets kundtjänst svarade snabbt både på Facebook Messenger, mail och telefon. Hotellet är väldigt lyxigt och vår utsikt från rummet var enastående. Poolområdet var fint och gymmet välutrustat. Vi hade läst att hotellet hade bra veganska utbud innan vi kom hit, men det var dessvärre inte sant. Även om köket kunde fixa god vegansk mat så var frukosten inte så spännande för oss. Säkert är den däremot underbar för allätare. Området är okej och det är nära till tunnelbanan. Trevlig bar på takterrassen.

Härligt hotell !
Stannade tre nätter med familj. Rummen Vi valde först ett blått rum , kom upp och kändes inte alls som något för oss och var slitet. Blev erbjudna att byta rum inom två timmar och fick ett med träinteriör. Mycket nöjda med det rummet och hur personalen skötte bytet av rum. Frukost/restaurang Riktigt bra frukost, den bästa vi varit på. Restaurangen hade riktigt bra mat på kvällarna. Pool Härligt poolområde med poolen på skuggsidan av hotellet och en solavdelning på andra sidan, saknade dock en dusch på solavdelningen för att snabbt kunna svalka sig. Ganska dyrt i poolbaren. Övrigt Roomservice uppfyllde inte riktigt förväntningarna då mycke av det vi beställde var "slut" som tex glass. Glasskylen i hotellrestaurangen var full av glass men ändå säger man att den är slut. Riktigt bra personal på alla delar av hotellet, tog även deras gratis Tuk Tuk till närmsta skytrain. Hotellet ligger dock lite tråkigt och taxiförarna utanför hotellet ville ibland inte ens köra till city och när dom ville köra så försökte dom bara blåsa en. Kommer gärna tillbaka till SO SOFITEL

Utmärkt hotell med ovanligt hjälpsam och uppmärksam personal. Rummet höll hög standard. Bra restaurangutbud på hotellet. Jättefin frukost med allt man kan önska. Trevlig takterass. Nära Metrostation. Skulle gärna återvända till hotellet. Förnämlig in - och utcheckning.

All in all a great disappointment
All in all a great disappointment. The service felt scripted and not genuine and during my stay, the staff were doing basic mistakes in managing expectations. For example, upon arrival I was given the option between three different room types: I selected a favorite and a runner up, only to find out ten minutes later, that they only had the only type of room that I didnt like. The pool area is beautiful, but there is no sunshine until after 3PM in the afternoon, as the tower blocks the sun. More importantly pool access is sold to non-hotel guests and during my stay, the pool area was completely crowded and I barely found a sun bed. Additionally I was unlucky having issues with extremely slow wifi and being locked out of my room after having visited the pool area (without finding a sun bed) only to find my key card had stopped working. The location has the advantage of being close to the business district and to Lumpini park, but the surrounding area is not a pleasant and its quite hard to get to and from the hotel walking. One also has to be prepared to listen to heavy traffic noise when visiting the outdoor pool area on floor 10. I am a Sofitel regular and I enjoy the attention to detail that this hotel chain normally gives me, but this hotel is not nearly as good as I was expecting.

Snyggt
Snyggt hotell. Mycket västerländsk par, lugn stämning förutom på kvällarna då de hyrde ut delar av hotellet till högljudda evenemang. Annorlunda snygga rum (vi tog vattenrummet), oerhört sköna sängar man vill knappt stiga upp. Supervänlig och proffsig personal i coola outfits. Bra roomservice. Genomsnittlig service vid poolen. Lite skavanker här och där i rummet och andra småsaker som skorrande högtalare, smutsiga fönster mm som drog ner på upplevelsen. De gemensamma ytorna är i behov av uppfräschning tex poolen. Ingen sol vid poolen utan de har en "gräsmatta" på andra sidan byggnaden för det (bra att veta som svensk soldyrkare). Överlag överpriser på hotellet. Totalt sett lite besviken även om det inte var något fel direkt..det finns helt klart mer prisvärda 4-5 stjärnigt hotell i Bangkok men för en lite annorlunda upplevelse så är det bra!

Toppenhotell med utmärkt service
Bodde här i två nätter under vår vistelse i Bangkok. Bemötandet vid incheckning var top notch, trots att vi var tre timmar tidiga pga flygtider fick vi rummet på en gång. Frukosten var fantastisk och en av dagarna spendera vi enbart på hotellet eftersom det kändes som att man inte ville lämna det. Poolen med utsikt över Lumpini park var riktigt bra med bar och restaurang. Shuttle service till sky train och bra tillgång till taxi.

Stayed here 6 years ago when it was Sofitel and have noticed the quality has gone down. Hotel is in need of an update swimming pool glass etc and general areas rundown it’s ok for a base but nothing special won’t be staying again.
