Discover the beauty of all that Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park has to offer at the Bar Harbor Retreat! This cozy 3-bedroom townhome is an end-unit and walking distance to all the shops, restaurants and ocean activities, but is tucked away off Cottage Street to provide a restful retreat at the end of a busy day. Park your car and enjoy easy access to pick up the free Island Explorer bus to go anywhere in the area and Acadia!

This home sleeps six comfortably with 3 spacious bedrooms. On the first floor, find the master bedroom with king bed, and hall bathroom with shower. Upstairs, you'll find two bedrooms - one with a queen bed, and one with two twins, plus the second full bath with shower. The home also has Air Conditioning (A/C), heat and WiFi throughout.

Other amenities include bed linens, towels, basic soaps, travel crib, coffee pot, toaster, and other kitchen items to cook up any meal! There is also a washer & dryer available.

Great location; short walk to shops and restaurants. Also, very easy to travel to Acadia National Park with its beautiful roads and vistas. The arrival process at the VRBO was very easy! Clean and charming accommodations.

Terrific Location- in and out the door to town, and the Village Green, etc. The front door faced the parking area,, where there were was a small patio with just 2 chairs (no table). I requested a table so we could sit out there with coffee or such, but was unable to get one. Being that it was Bar Harbor, we had hoped for an outdoor area to relax and enjoy the fresh air and scenery.. And for the we paid! The place was very clean. Odd they do not supply any bath soap in either shower… Plenty of towels, etc. The kitchen (with dining table) was in the back of the townhouse, which was a dark area. Great location - but mediocre interior/exterior

Location was close to restaurants and the harbor. Rooms were spacious. Appliances in excellent condition. Parking was easy. Binder of property was full of useful information about the area. Property was even nicer in person. We stayed for two weeks and would have loved to stay longer!

Great place, awesome location

Very nice and comfortable property right in Bar Harbor! The location was amazing. Could easily walk to anywhere in downtown Bar Harbor in just a few minutes. Took day trips into the park with our car, then used the included parking space at night as we walked around town. The location and cleanliness of the place was perfect.

Thanksgiving Stay

We stayed over Thanksgiving while visiting family on the island. The location is fantastic - easy walk to the entire town. Our two high school boys took the upstairs so plenty of room to spread out. Parking was helpful even in the off-season. We were even able to get in some hikes in the park!

Great location and comfortable stay

We enjoyed our stay in Bar Harbor and the fact that the house was so central. Generally well equipped. Bedrooms would benefit from blackout blinds or curtains and the curtain poles were flimsy.

Great Place in Great Location

Our family visited Acadia national Park and Bar Harbor. You can’t beat the location of this property! Everything you wanted to do or see was very walkable. Property was well appointed, clean and communication with owner was excellent. I would definitely recommend when visiting the area.

Great location!

The rental had everything we might need and was a short walk away from all things Bar Harbor. Check in was easy, and the property was comfortable. Could use a bit of TLC and refresh in areas (bathrooms, windows) and they have a bit of an insect problem, but we didn't pay much attention. Would stay here again.

We loved the in town location for dining and shopping and proximity of Acadia entrances. I especially liked that everything was provided to us: linens, paper products, well stocked kitchen...veema answered questions promptly.

Great property in AMAZING locatino

This was a fantastic property in an amazing location in downtown Bar Harbor. You couldn't really ask for a better location. The host was hospitable and a fantastic communicator. My family of of four had an amazing time and it was great having this property as a base! Oh, it is also about 2-3 blocks from the Island Bar Trail, which was pretty great!

Perfect Bar Harbor Stay

nice little getaway

Home was clean and in a great location to walk all of Bar Harbor shops and restaurants. Also nice being able to walk to the Explorer bus stops to access Acadia park trails and sights without parking issues if you come during busy season (bus only runs certain months, did not use this visit but have on previous visits and LOVED the easy access)
