This cabin was great for our family trip; we had 9 adults and 1 infant with more than enough room. Our host were great and communication as easy & fast response. I don’t think you can find a better place for the money in Bar Harbor. I am giving a brief cabin layout description because if you are like me you like to have the bedrooms assigned before you arrive. Even as adults’ children still complain about the room they get. Ugg! Cabin is set up like a raised ranch with a loft, when entering through side door you can go down or up a ½ flight stairs (like a Bi-Level). The lower level has 3 bedrooms (2 rooms with double beds and 1 room with 2 twins) and a full bathroom, it also has small sitting area with couch and TV. The main floor which can also be entered from the covered porch has 2 bedrooms (1 with Double bed and 1 with a queen bed) full bathroom w/ washer & dryer, kitchen w/counter seating for meals, and main living room. The loft or 3rd level has a large bedroom with a queen bed. The porch and fire pit area provide even more places to spread out, so we never felt cramped in the cabin. The tetherball made for some exciting and dramatic times. The location is great close to Acadia National Park and the town of Bar Harbor, but away from the crowds. Walk to the end of the street and watch the sun rise and see seals if lucky (as we were). I would stay here again and highly recommend it for your Bar Harbor vacation.
