I was in need of a short 2 night stay at a hotel in Barcelona while visiting a friend. I was able to find the Barcelona Century which looked like a no frills, clean and well priced option. So based on a lot of other reviews I thought I would go for it. I wasn’t disappointed and this was perfect for the sort of stay I would need. There’s no additional facilities like a pool or a gym but if you need those things you would be looking at a more expensive hotel and likely for more days. The hotel was easy to find (about 9 min walk from Urgell station) pretty much in a straight line so it made it really easy. When arriving the receptionist was friendly and happy to help. Check in was quick and my room was ready upon arrival. I was staying in a single room which I was really pleasantly surprised about because the room was perfectly ample for what I needed it for and the bathroom was a good size too. The cleanliness was impressive and thorough too. The room included a fridge and safe as well as a Tv on the wall and desk area. The bed was a single, but perfectly comfortable for what I needed and the air conditioning worked really well too. The bathroom was clean and well looked after the shower was a great size and the water was hot when needed. The towel was a big bath towel too which was really good to see. The area was nice with restaurants and cafes nearby, it’s a well situated hotel and I highly recommend it!

Hotel is conveniently located in Barcelona and at an amazing price. You can easily access it and travel to tourist points vi the metro system. We included breakfast, which was reasonable in options. The standard room provided control of the AC, good comfortable beds, and a great bathroom with enough storage. Wifi was reliable and fast. Check in was 3pm, but you can do early check in around 2pm if you call and check with them.

Hyvä hintalaatusuhde, huone oli siisti ja moderni, isohko kylpyhuone. Minijääkaappi ja vaatekaappi löytyi, hieman pöytätilaa myös. Jos ei hotellilta odota mitään taikatemppuja ja sirkushuveja, tämä toimi loistavasti. Ystävällinen henkilökunta ja hyvä sijainti. Ravintoloita löytyy hyvin myös lähialueelta ja metropysäkit olivat lähellä.

This was my second time at the Barcelona Century Hotel and, while the first time was also great, I enjoyed my stay more than last year. The rooms seem to have been renovated and the doors can finally be unlocked with a card - last year there was a key and it brought about a small issue. The staff was wonderful and I loved the breakfast. Thank you, I surely will return sometime!

I was traveling with my 10 great old daughter. The front staff was wonderful and friendly. The room was very small and there were not many toiletries available. Breakfast was available for an additional cost but there were plenty of spots within walking distance to check out. 10 min walk from the train station as well
