This property was in a super location-close to shopping, eating and transportation. The boutique style enabled us to experience neighborhood life within the city. We highly recommend requesting a room with a terrace in the rear.

A charming property staffed by lovely people. Furnished with antiques. Immaculately kept. Inviting and extensive Continental breakfast. Coffee and teas available around the clock. They graciously arranged a taxi for us at the end of our stay and escorted us down to the street to help us get loaded! Also very secure. We had a room with a balcony looking out on the street which we loved! Bathroom very modern though house is historic. Bed and room were large and quiet. You can’t go wrong here!

We enjoyed our stay here in September 2023 prior to boarding a cruise ship. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We arrived prior to check in time but were able to leave our luggage with the staff. When we returned later in the day, our bags were waiting for us in our room. Breakfast was excellent (fresh pastries, fruit, juices, cheese/meat, and more). There is 24 hour access to coffee (Nespresso) and still/sparkling water. The location was within walking distance to most of the sites that we wanted to see, and only a few minutes from the nearest metro station. It was very easy to get to the location via metro from the airport, and to the cruise ship terminal via the metro. There are many good restaurants close by. Our room was a "city view" room with a nice little balcony to watch the action below. At night the room was very quite and dark, we had great sleeps. This was our first visit to Barcelona and would stay here again.

Foi satisfatoria. Fiquei num quarto voltado para um outro cômodo da casa , sem luz natural. Quando contratei o hotel Circa as fotos mostravam quartos voltados para um patio com ombrelones na parte externa, como mostra a foto deste site, ou janelas para a rua. O quarto que me foi destinado nao era escuro, pois nao tinha luz direta. Considero o horario do café da manha muito restrito para quem está viajando, das 8:00 às 10:00h. No dia do check-out, precisei sair às 7:30h, e nada foi servido, embora estivesse pago. O atendimento é atencioso e a localização é ótima, mas extremamente caro pelo que oferece. Não volto e não recomendo.

Regarding the lack of light in the room please be aware our double room courtyard view has no natural light but we have two other categories plenty of light, exterior room with city views or garden view. We had a fantastic experience with Circa 1905. The hotel is located in a great area that’s close to great food and tourist attractions. The staff also provides phenomenal customer service, from offering free bottled water, excellent breakfast, daily fruit, and taking much care in daily room cleanings. They also went above and beyond to accommodate our last minute late checkout request. Highly recommend staying here!

Great stay! Others reviews will have mentioned the perfect location and beautiful building, so I'll add a word for outstanding service: Staff made us feel really welcome and provided me with gluten free bread and pastries to accommodate for my medical condition - very tasty and very appreciated.

Great Place To Stay
The property host was extremely helpful. Check-in was easy. She was very concerned about us settling in. Breakfast was always early. And she helped us with restaurant reservations at two wonderful places. We would go back to the B&B anytime we are in Barcelona.

Treat yourself in Barcelona and stay here!
If you visit Spain, definitely stay here! The staff was wonderful and very accommodating with great communication before we even arrived. The room was so unique, with impeccable decorations. The location is great, on a quiet local-feeling street, steps from a busy street! So many restaurants, public transportation, nightlife, etc.. only steps away. Location is very safe. I highly recommend staying here, can't wait to go back myself!

Einzigartig an dieser Unterkunft ist, dass sämtliches Mobiliar an die Zeit um ca. 1905 erinnert. Die "Altbauwohnung" mit den Zimmern ist zentral gelegen, so dass man mit z.B. der Metro (ca. 10 min Fussweg) alle Sehenswürdigkeiten gut erreichen kann. Wir hatten Probleme die Unterkunft anfangs zu finden, da diese inmitten eines Mehrappartmenthauses liegt. Super gefallen hat uns auch die Rund-um die -Uhr Wasser Verfügbarkeit sowie Tee und Kaffee in der kleinen Teeküche in einem kleinen zentral gelegenen Raum.

Room was great but the place is not handicapped accessible. There are two flights of stairs before the elevator. My husband has a bad back and stairs are a killer. But the staff was great, the room was beautiful, and the breakfast was great.

This is a very unique set up as a bed and breakfast. The building is a beautiful old mansion style with high ceilings and mouldings. It is furnished with period style furniture....very elegant.

Perfect Location
The hotels location is great - right in the center of the city with good metro access. Beautifully decorated with a charming breakfast room and communal fridge and coffee/tea available 24/7. Breakfast was good with nice variety of options, however it was the same choice each morning. Room was spacious with nice terrace although the small iron chairs are not made for sitting any longer than five minutes. The bed itself was fairly comfortable but as with other hotels in Spain the pillows were cheap and uncomfortable. I know it’s a problem in hot regions but I also found a cockroach under the top cover of my bed one evening 😵. Staff are helpful and friendly and yes, I would return.

Quaint place in great location
Fabulous place really quaint, bed was the best bed I've ever slept in and I wanted to steal the pillows-- like sleeping on a cloud! Would have liked coffee maker in the room but not so far away there was coffee and tea 24/7 to help yourself Breakfast was a little disappointing, could have had some warm food and had to ask for serviettes and filter coffee. Limited choice, otherwise an adorable place to stay in a great location.

Perfekte individuelle Location
Diese Unterkunft liegt im 1. Stock, der Bel Etage eines alten ehrwürdigen Hauses. Es gibt 9 Zimmer, 4 davon liegen zum ruhigen, begrünten Innenhof und haben eine schöne Terasse. Hier kann gefrühstückt werden oder einfach eine kleine Pause in der Sonne eingelegt werden, die Stadt ist schließlich anstrengend. Weitere 4 Zimmer liegen zur Straße, eines scheinbar zum Lichthof....bin nicht sicher. Wir haben uns in dieser schmucken Wohnung sehr wohl gefühlt. Es gibt die Möglichkeit sich 24/7 mit Kaffée und Wasser zu versorgen. Das Frühstück war ausgesucht und fein, für uns voll ausreichend. Wir würden sofort wieder hinfahren, die Lage hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Edle Läden, Bars, Restaurants, U-Bahn alles in Fußnähe.
