I will tell anyone that wants to know NOT to stay at Hotel 4.
The beds were very hard, so much so that I had pain in my back and neck the entire time I stayed there.
The breakfast was poor: the scrambled eggs were more brown than yellow, some vegetables were stale, there was no yoghurt, and since I do not eat bread as I avoid gluten there was not really very much to eat. Breakfast was meant to open at 7 am. When some of my clients and I asked to be let in at 7:05 we got a frustrated reply in Spanish to the point that she was very busy and we had to wait another five minutes. That made me late to one of my meetings.
The AC was completely wrong: I tried setting it to 15 degrees as my room was way too warm but it only kept pouring hot air into the room. When I talked to reception about this problem I was treated like I was stupid because clearly everyone knows that the AC only has hot air in the wintertime.Well, I have stayed at hotels around the world, summer and winter, and NEVER had this problem anywhere else.
What is worse: when I came to reception with this problem they treated me like I was stupid, told me I was the one who was wrong and did not offer any viable roads forward. That is a big reason to why Hotel 4 is now getting a very bad review from me. This hotel and the staff clearly has no understanding of what good customer service is. I asked the reception staff to tell their manager. I don't know if they ever did because no one got back to me. Very POOR!!!
