Great Apartment with Everything You Needed
This was a great apartment to come back to after a day of sightseeing. It had everything you needed for a comfortable stay. Communication with the host / property manager was excellent. All in all, it made our time in Barcelona perfect!!

Our family enjoyed our stay at this property tremendously. It was perfect for our family of five (3 children between the ages of 6-10 years old). The beds and sleeper sofa were all very comfortable. We had enough storage to put away all of our things for the week that we were there. The bathroom and kitchen were standard for a European city apartment, maybe even on the larger side. The shower was great with hot water and good pressure! Being able to do laundry and line dry it was a huge help for our trip. The AC units were sufficient to keep the apartment cool during the heat wave we had while we were there. We did not use the TV so I can't speak to that but the wifi worked great. The apartment building was generally very quiet. There is an elevator to the apartment which is helpful, but you can also take the stairs. The location was fantastic. Though it is not in the center of town, it is close to the Sagrada Familia and right on a main walking boulevard with shops and restaurants. There are multiple metro stops very close by (as close as the same block) that take you all over the city in 20 minutes or less. It was everything we were looking for and we were very happy with our stay! We would definitely stay here again!

Great host, a bit noisy neighborhood, but wonderful location
The host met us at the building. I believe it was Daniel. Very polite, very nice. He sent us numerous recommendations. The location is 10 minutes away from Sagrada Familia. The apartment is clean, furniture is a bit different from listing. The windows are facing inner yard. Spanish people dine late, so we could hear locals till 1 am. Shower water was always slightly cold. Nevertheless the apartment was cozy and warm. It had all the necessary small things to make the stay comfortable. Plenty of shops and restaurants around.

Wohnung sehr schön, mit allem notwendigen ausgestattet. Schade, dass man einen Late- Check- in Zuschlag zahlen muss und das Haus ist leider sehr hellhörig- man kann die Nachbarn duschen hören.

We are pleased that overall this guest liked the apartment. It is a shame that they are complaining about the late check-in fee, considering we are transparent in our listing and booking confirmation that there is a fee for arriving after 9pm. They arrived at 1am. The apartment is also located in a residential building with neighbors in the center of the city, and some noise is to be expected, this is also not unusual.

Great for family stay in Barcelona
Convenient to a metro stop (1 block away) for all city exploring and within easy walking distance to Sagrada Familia. Apartment was clean and well appointed though our couch and table in living area were not as nice as shown in pictures. AC and laundry worked very well. Elevator and stairs access to unit was nice. Communication with Jorge and Daniel was easy and check in was simple with meeting at the front door and being escorted up to the apartment and being shown around.

We do the check-in with the guest who made the reservation. We do not go up with the whole party due to the pandemic. Most guests appreciate this and there is never any issue. We also do not care if it is a man or a woman - it is the person who made the reservation. If there is any issue the whole party can come up as we don't ever want anyone to be uncomfortable. In this case, three adult women said it was absolutely no problem. Now, we see this review. It is very disturbing and and extremely insulting for us to receive a review that insinuates any type of insecurity for our female guests. It makes us seem untrustworthy and we do not deserve this. We provide an excellent service and we are good people. If they had any issue they could have said they all wanted to go up and there would not have been any problem whatsoever. Instead, they say "sure, no problem!" and then write a review saying the check-in was awkward. It is very unfair, we are trying to do our best with a pandemic to keep everyone safe.

Superb, convenient and comfortable stay!!
We traveled for the first time -as a family of 4- to Barcelona. Found the description of this condo on Vrbo to be accurate or to even exceed our expectations. Location of building is excellent, safe and convenient for a family, in the Eixample neighborhood. Only a 5-minute walk to La Sagrada Familia, 1 min away from the metro or a 15min bike ride to El Born or Gothic areas or to the beach! Also many great options for dining nearby either around the corner or down a 2-minute walk to a strip of restaurants with outside seating. A small convenience store is at the bottom of building to buy water, fruits, snacks, laundry detergent etc…there is an elevator to take you to the 5th floor where the flat is located. The inside of the apartment is spotless!! The owners have thought of almost everything to make our stay as a family convenient and comfortable. The apartment is very bright with a balcony and designed as a hallway with 3 rooms to your left: main bedroom with a Full/Queen size bed, bathroom and kitchen as you walk from the entrance door. The other smaller bedroom is located to the right of the living room and had bunk beds, perfect for our 12 and 14-year old boys. Small table outside the kitchen by the living room, comfortable sofas, TV, Netflix, internet. There are 2 AC units for hot days, one in the larger bedroom and the second just outside of the smaller bedroom within the living area. A clean bathroom/shower and a well-equipped kitchen with plates, cups, glasses (including wine glasses), wine opener, dish washing liquid, tea, coffee maker, toaster, large fridge/freezer and washing machine (which we used for 3 loads for our teens!). We line-dried all clothes on the balcony outside and on a rack provided in the kitchen that we placed on the balcony. The sunny hot weather and drying lines made it easier for us given that most Europeans do not use drying machines. All clothes were dry overnight. Communication with the owners was fast and easy. We used WhatsApp to inform them of our arrival at the airport and to meet up at the building for checkin at 2-3pm. Also easy to ask them for recommendations for reserving taxis or going around the city. There is a bike rental place about a 5-minute walk from the apartment. We rented bikes throughout our stay and biked all of Barcelona!! To Sagrada Familia, to the Center, to Picasso museum, and to the beach! Loved it and would definitely stay there again next time we visit!! Thank you Jorge & Daniel!!

Very lively and busy area of town that keeps going late into morning hours with Manu bakeries and Tapas bars within minutes...had to taxi to most attractions closer to the coast, but all cost less than $15eu...property was just as advertised and our host Jorge and Juana were very responsive and caring. Well equipped kitchen and appliances.

The location and status of this property are amazing. The local streets are lines with tree canopies and delicious restaurants. A few steps for the apartment is Gaudi’ Avenue, and views of La Sagrada Familia (just 3-4 blocks away). The apartment has all the conveniences one would need. The host, Jorge, was readily available and kindly courteous. I recommend staying here.

Highly recommend
This place in Barcelona is very nice, close to all the restaurants and Sagrada Família ! The place was very clean. The lower bunk bed mattress is a little worn out and needs to be replaced, otherwise highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Barcelona.

Great location
Wonderful location walking distance from metro, restaurants, grocery store, and La Sagrada Familia. Nice to have living room. Kitchen and bedrooms were fine. Two minor downsides were that there was daily construction in apartment building (mid April 2019) that was a little loud, and bathroom smelled bad no matter how much we cleaned it. Overall though, we were glad we stayed. Location couldn’t be beat.

Perfect Home Away from Home
It was a great location near Sagrada Família. There is also a stop for the hop on/off bus right in front of the apartment. We used it several times throughout our stay. Everything was clean and we had everything you could need for a long stay. Jorge was incredibly nice and gave us so many restaurant recommendations. He even offered to pay us back if we didn’t like a restaurant he suggested. 7 Portas is by far the best restaurant, so he has no need to pay us back. He was right! 😁 we would definitely stay here again!

Great homebase for exploring Barcelona and surrounding sights.
We stayed for 8 days, and were very pleased. The master bed is queen-sized, shower/tub has plenty of hot water, large living room with dining area is bright and airy, with two sets of sliders to small balcony. (The first week of October we didn't use the air conditioning, but liked having the fresh air, there was no street noise.) Everything is as pictured, renovated and clean, uncluttered, metro is a block away, and really easy to use to get everywhere. Hosts were very helpful. Definitely recommend it.

Good Location and Great Neighborhood Feel
We enjoyed our stay in Barcelona from this wonderful apartment close to the Sagrada Familia and Metro. Jorge and Daniel were wonderful hosts giving us lots of good information in planning our stay and meeting us on the check-in day as well. They were very flexible as our flight was delayed. Though the rooms are a little small (our two adult sons slept in the bunk beds), we were there only to sleep and shower --- the rest of the time, we were out enjoying beautiful Barcelona! Would be a great property for a family with younger children. Lots of cafes and easy to walk neighborhood.

Nice place
Stayed at Jorge's place in May 2018. Great location that's a 10-15 walk from Sagrada Familia. Their place was very comfortable except for the construction in the apartment above us. Really annoying that it started at 8am every day we were there and was very loud! Balcony was not usable due to the construction. Besides that inconvenience the place was clean, AC worked well, beds were comfortable, kitchen/bathroom were fine. Probably should have more detailed instructions on how to use the washing machine since that was not the easiest to figure out. Overall, a pretty decent place to stay.

The apt was very nice it was clean bright and fresh. The beds were very comfortable!!
We were very happy with the apt itself and the hosts were wonderful... they met us at the apt when we arrived and they gave us great restaurant recommendations!!! the one negative was that the walls were a bit thin and we could hear the neighbors in the am yet they were all in bed early and it was very quiet in the evening. The area was nice! I would defiantly recommend it to a friend.

Apartamento muy bien situado, en una zona céntrica y poco ruidosa. Es amplio y con mucha luz. La persona con la que he gestionado el alquiler es muy agradable y en todo momento abierto a cualquier necesidad que me pudiera surgir. Por poner algún punto a mejorar, podría proponer el cambio de persianas, puesto que no son herméticas y se filtra mucha luz.

Lovely apartment to rent.

Great location, 5 mins to La Sagrada Familia
We are a family of five, with three teenage sons, but this apartment was big enough for us with two boys sharing the sofa bed in the bright and airy living room. Great location 3 minutes from St Pau metro station (line 5) and only 5 mins walk to Spain's greatest attraction, La Sagrada Familia. Daniel and Jorges were great hosts, meeting us on arrival and checking everything was ok during our visit. Only one problem... 3 days and 4 nights is not long enough to enjoy Barcelona! I hope we will return...

Great property, location and customer service
Location of property is good. Close to historic area but far enough away so that it is a bit quieter than being in the heart of the tourist area. Plenty of good restaurants and shopping for basics within steps of apartment. The apartment was clean and modern. Daniel was super helpful, pleasant and just a great host as he checked us in, gave recommendations for restaurants and sites to see and helped with taxis. Highly recommended

Great place for 5 day stay
This apartment is bright and very well stocked with all you need for a lovely stay in a lovely neighborhood- some tourist spots close by, but also away from the mass tourist areas. Around the corner is a great supermarket and across the street is the Hospital St Croce St Pau. Magnificiant place to visit. Of course the not to be missed Sagrada Familia is just a short fun walk past shops and restaurants. Subway is a block away and on the L5 line that connects with so much. The lobby has been described as a little dark but don't let that deter you. The apartment looks like the photos, the staff greet you on arrival, everything is very clean and working. Very happy with our choice. Barcelona is beautiful...

Appartement très confortable du quartier de la Sagrada
Un appartement conforme aux attentes, très propre et soigné avec tout ce qu'il faut pour un séjour à trois ou quatre. Les propriétaires sont disponibles et sympas. Le quartier est très agréable (juste à côté, l'hôpital de Sant Pau dont la visite vaut la peine). En revanche, on est un peu excentré : descendre à pied à la Sagrada familia -à cinq minutes seulement- pour prendre un métro afin d'atteindre le centre ville. De bonnes adresses dans le coin pour manger (très bon petit restau à côté de l'appartement) et un autre excellent sur le boulevard. Bref, un très bon séjour dans une sublime ville!

Brght and comfortable, close to attractions and Metro system is so easy to learn
Property is good for two or three people max; quiet neighborhood; Metro one block away; Sagrada Familia within walking distance and all other attractions closeby with plenty of buses, trains and taxis. Neighborhood has nice, reasonably priced restaurants. Highly recommend Restaurant 1902 located inside the Sant Pau Hospital Campus (right next door). To Park Guell (take a cab its less than 10 euros and your legs and feet will thank you for it) very nice place, impressive artwork and lots of walking. Metro Trains are very easy to learn and inexpensive; best method to reach Barcelona Airport if you are traveling light on luggage otherwise reserve a taxi in advance (you don't want to lug heavy luggage up and down stairs). The Rodalies (Renfe) train (for regional travel) is also a great way to see other cities/sites surrounding Barcelona however check train schedule. Reasonable prices and quick service. Overall I enjoyed myself. The apartment is clean, the owners are nice and responsive. Beware that you cannot check in to apartment until 11am local time which can be cumbersome especially when my flight arrived at 7:30am - so killing time was a little rough but we survived. Next time I will look for a later arrival to avoid the waiting period otherwise all was good.

Very comfortable apartment in quiet, convenient neighborhood
The apartment is in great shape and very professionally managed by Jorge and Daniel. It looks just like the photos, with a nice, sunny living room looking out over rooftops, and a separate kitchen. The furnishings are new and attractive and the place is well stocked. The master bedroom window looks into a large airshaft so it gets a little bit of noise from the neighbors, but it's household noise rather than all-night parties. The public areas of the building are slightly shabby but the apartment is much nicer and feels perfectly secure. Note that there is a washing machine but no dryer. We like to stay in residential neighborhoods rather than in the middle of tourist hell. This neighborhood is not super charming but it's quiet and there are two great sites nearby: the Sagrada Familia and the Hospital de Sant Pau, which is a gorgeous Moderniste compound practically across the street from the apartment building. There are restaurants and supermarkets, but if you're looking to be in the middle of cool Barcelona nightlife this is not the neighborhood for you. The good news is that the subway station is a block away so getting home was easy. All in all, this was a very good choice for a small family like ours.
