WORST EXPERIENCE EVER - DON'T BOOK IT!
This is THE WORST experience ever. At arrival we didn't get our two apartments that we had booked and paid for in advance. The staff was rude, they wanted more money, and laughed when we first of all said that we had booked two apartments with balcony and windows. The one apartment they wanted to place us in was located two floors under ground, smelled mold, and had no windows. The so called apartment that was showed has no resemblance with what was on hoels.coms web page. We hear from the staff when talking to his manager that there is always a problem with this apartment. We couldn't stay and was forced to find another hotel in the middle of the night. The MSB Rooftop and its owner is a fraud. As we've seen in other reviews, the MSB rooftop, always come with lame excuses and answers, but how do you explain when the staff admits there is always a problem with these units and the smell of mold?

Overpriced and noisy with poor service
Location was great. To pick up keys you have to go by taxi 20 minutes from apartment - bad. Cool interior, but the windows (floor to ceiling) in living/bedroom has absolutely no sound isolation, and it is practically impossible to sleep during night hours due to traffic and partying people - and glass recyclers... Not OK. Fridge was broken and despite two reninders it never got fixed over the 4 days we stayed there. No refund or price reduction given. Overpriced for what you get.

Lägenhet i två plan. Bottenvåningen hade stor terrass. (Varning för er med småbarn!! Fanns ett glapp mellan vägg och räcke där ett barn lätt skulle kunna gå in och falla ner i det öppna hålet ner till -2.) Rätt smutsig och trasig lägenhet.. Dörrar till skåp och lådor var knappt öppningsbara. Incheckningen gick smidigt men det ligger rätt långt bort. Taxi till lägenheten kostade ca 15 Euro. Det bästa med denna lägenhet är helt klart läget! Tunnelbanan ligger ca 100 meter från dörren.

Trivsam lägenhet
Fräsch och trivsam lägenhet med bra planlösning och centralt läge. Tyvärr lite för hårda sängar för vår smak och dåligt skyltat vid entrén så inte helt lätt att hitta rätt. Nackdel att man var tvungen att hämta nyckeln på ett annat ställe i stan, men det funkade rätt smidigt ändå.

Não me devolveram o depósito de caução, 300 euros!! até agora. Já passou o dobro do prazo estipulado, de 3 a 4 dias. Não deram nenhuma previsão. O apartamento tem paredes de papel, dava para ouvir o ronco do vizinho como se fosse dentro do apartamento. Fora o choro dos bebês, as risadas dos bêbados, as descargas, e tudo o mais. O lenço estava sujo!! Com cabelos, inclusive. Como podem alugar um lugar sem lavar os lençóis!!! Eu tentei desmarcar quando me disseram que era um porão, porque é um porão sem luz, e o hoteis.com não me ajudou! Não recomendo nem a hotels.com nem o MySpace. Caro pelo que oferece. Inconfiável. Não cumprem o que prometem. They did not return me the security deposit, 300 euros !! yet. It has already doubled the stipulated deadline of 3 to 4 days. They gave no prediction. The apartment has paper walls, you could hear the neighbor's snoring as if it were inside the apartment. You hear the crying babies, the drunks's laughter, the flushings, and everything. The sheets was dirty !! With hair, inclusive. How can you rent a place without washing the sheets !!! I tried to uncheck when I was told it was a basement, because it's a basement without light, and hotels.com didn't help me! I highly don't recommend neither hotels.com nor MySpace. Expesive for what it offers. Unreliable. Not delivering what they promise.

Hay que leer detenidamente las prestaciones antes de contratar, ya que hay que pagar una fianza y los costes de limpieza. Inaceptable el no poder hacer el checking donde estan los apartamentos. Supone un coste adicional de transporte.

Le logement était situé au sous-sol (-1) d'un immeuble. Les appartements sont loués par des groupes de jeunes (comme nous), il n'est donc pas conseillé pour des familles ou des couples (du moins à la haute saison). A cause du bruit en pleine nuit principalement. Les points positifs: * Bien situé dans Barcelone (30 min de marche jusqu'à la plage) * Logement propre * Belle terrasse en haut de l'immeuble * Petite superette en bas de l'immeuble. * Douche agréable: eau chaude et bon débit Les points négatifs: * Devoir aller chercher les clés au bout de la ville * Aucune finition dans le logement (fils électriques au plafond, porte mal montée, porte-serviettes inutilisable) * Logement situé au -1. Donc pas de fenêtre, simplement un puit de lumière. Impossible de faire sécher ses serviettes ou son linge. * Eau de la piscine très sale, eau trouble avec une odeur infâme. On s'est baigné 2 fois et nos maillots de bain avaient une odeur persistante et ignoble. En conclusion: logement bien placé et pratique si ce n'est que pour dormir et prendre sa douche. Pour le reste, n'espérez pas grand chose.

Au préalable il faut recuperer les clefs a l'autre bout de la ville. Laisser une caution de 300€ qu ils restituent 7j apres votre depart (mais il faut insister....) Les murs sont fins comme du papier, les finitions très mediocres. La piscine salle (megots de cigarettes) et mal entretenue( carreaux manquants)

There was only 1 roll of toilet paper. The key card never worked to access the pool. People left garbage bags in the lift. Having to get the key cards that we’re an hour away from the apartment was challenging as well.

There is € 90 cleaning fee
Please don’t come here. The extra fee is not specified clearly. And the check-in is complicated which we cannot check in at the apartment which did not stated in the email sent. We need to go to their office for check-in which is very far away from the apartment. And there is no blanket for the whole house which is unacceptable. If you can find another place, don’t come here!!!

Fin oase på rooftop / lidt små værelser
I forhold til de billeder man ser, bliver man snydt / skuffet i forhold til str. På værelser. Værelserne er simpelthen for små til at der kan sove 2 personer, Til gengæld er det en rigtig fin lille oase på taget “ rooftop “ med en lille fin pool. Lejligheden trænger til en opgradering stikkontakter trænger til at blive skiftet. Det er lidt slidt. Lejligheden ligger rigtig fint i forhold til strand og by, så det er perfekt. Være opmærksom på at man skal hente nøglen 20 min. Væk. ( my spare )

Not impressed.
We really didn’t appreciate having to go so far out of our way to get the keys to the place. In addition, the pictures that are used to advertise did not match the reality. We stayed in a below ground studio with oily a lightwell. It was depressing. We were told repeatedly how quiet we needed to be so that we could respect the neighbors yet our neighbors were horrifically loud at the earliest and latest of hours. Sound really does travel in this place.

Pésima experiencia
La peor experiencia de la vida, es una estafa, el apartamento, literalmente es un parqueadero adecuado. Para reclamar la llave hay que atravesar la ciudad y la atención es pésima. Además cobran 90 euros por limpiar unas paredes que están en concreto mal acabado, y un lugar desagradable; no hay implementos de aseo y no ofrece ningún confort Es un lugar que no recomendaría a nadie, además hay que dejar un depósito de 300 euros

Hola Oscar, Usted reservó el apartamento de Expedia, toda la información y descripción fue mencionada. Usted reservó un apartamento en el centro de Cuty, por el precio de 58€ por persona, que incluso no encontrará en HOSTEL, y aquí tenía todo el apartamento. El depósito de seguridad es reembolsable, ya que se le informó que después de su salida en 3-4 días hábiles se lo reembolsaremos. Saludos

L'inizio della nostra vacanza é stata fortemente segnata dalla assoluta incoerenza delle foto di presentazione dell'appartamento: non si intuiva che fosse in uno scantinato (piano -2) senza finestre e con rumori molesti. Le ciliegine sulla torta sono state la colonia di formiche in cucina, lo sporco dappertutto (alla faccia dei 90 euro richiesti per la pulizia...), Il bagno in condizioni da terzo mondo e la porta che non si chiudeva. Dopo un ora di rimostranze l'emissario dell'agenzia ci ha accompagnato in un appartamento più decoroso

Loft is not a cellar, but an attic or a place converted from previously industrial space. This was a cellar with no window and so thin walls that conversation of the neighbors was as if they were sitting next to us - and they were not quiet. The TV was installed in the way that it was impossible to watch it (on a wall next to the cupboard), but anyway - there were almost no programs working so no lost. And in all the apparent things were installed as if they had no screwdriver - toilet paper holder stayed in hand if u touched and towel hanger fell of when someone put the towel on it. Not really what one expected when booking a “loft” in the city center!!

Every bad reviews is real! I booked for a rooftop and i had a -2 room, without terrace like the photos, without the right cleaning ( 90€!!!! ) and with 0 support from the reception ( located in anorher place, unbelievable! ). A real fraud, don’t book this place, with the same price you can book a 4 stars hotel next the sea.

Dear guest, you booked an apartment with rooftop swimming pool (shared), which is the name of our ad in Expedia "MSB Rooftop Pool City Center". As you told us the apartment was not perfectly cleaned, we directly send a cleaning lady over. For the reception, it is clearly stated before you even book the property that this one is at another place than the apartment. With a rate of 100€ per night, I can barely imagine you can find a 4-star hotel in Barcelona right at the seaside.

Que fut ma surprise en entrant dans cette cave étroite avec vue chez le voisin du dessous. Ajouter à sa des frais supplémentaires noté en minuscule dans les conditions de vente. Je déconseille cet établissement qui n’offre aucun service ou même l’eau chaude est limitée pour un prix 375€ les 2 nuits pour 3 cela m’aur Coûter le même prix en hôtel même moins pour un meilleur service

Cher Mohammed, veuillez noter que c'est Expedia qui décide d'où vont être indiqués les frais "supplémentaires" (= frais de ménage et taxe de séjour ainsi que caution remboursable). Nous envoyons de plus à tous nos clients un email de confirmation après leur réservation dnas lequel est clairement indiqué ce qui sera à payer lors du check-in ainsi que l'adress où venir chercher les clés. (aussi indiqué dans les conditions de ventes) De plus l'appartement est en plein centre-ville et je doute que vous puissiez trouvé une chambre d'hotel dont la qualité serait nettement supérieur en face de l'Arc de Triomphe de Barcelone au prix de 62.50€ par personne. L'eau chaude n'est de plus pas limitée... Cordialement

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!!!! Everything has been wrong from beginning to end. First those people have no sense of customer service whatsoever. They are properly rude to customers. Something you need to know before booking: - they will charge you upon arrival a £90 fee (not refundable) for the property cleaning! But NO cleaning is dome during your stay and the cleaning done before was poor. So i guess we pay for not much. Oh WAIT! In their horrible contract they foece you to sign upon arrival it states you cant do anything in the flat BUT must clean the flat when leaving, cannot leave dishes... EXCUSE ME??? what were rhose £90 for then??? Apart from hearing in the morning extremely loud cleaners who dont let people sleep?! - they force you to pay a £300 deposit (refundable) upon arrival. I had to beg them many time for TWO weeks to get the refund back. So many people complain on this agency / flat and they do mot care at all. OH WAIT even better!!! They will not be there upon arrival to give you the keys! No no! They ask you to go to north Barcelona to collect the keys! 20 euros by taxi! So the flat...... 2nd floor below ground. No comment. No window apart from a patio with almost no light at all. Leak in the flat as it rained. Only 2 toilet paper rolls when this flat was meant to have the capacity of 5 people. A kitchen with no plugs for the coffee machine ahah No plates. So yes terrible experience.

Great location, pleasant apartment.
Great location and pleasant 3 bed apartment. Note that there are additional cleaning costs for the apartments and you have to go to a remote office to pick up the keys. Overall we really enjoyed the stay.

My Space Barcelona Rooftop très chère et décevant
Bonjour, J'ai passé 6 jours au My Space Barcelona. C'était annoncé mais déjà il faut aller chercher les clés enfin plutôt les cartes magnétique à l'autre bout de Barcelone avec les enfants et les bagages pas tip top. A l'agence, on nous demande de payer : - 90 E pour le ménage qui est extrêmement chère et dans le contrat il est stipulé si vous laissez trop crade, il vous sera prix sur votre caution un complément !! - pour la taxe de séjour 2,48 E par adulte et par jour pour - 300 euros de cautions qui est encaissé de suite Pour le paiement du ménage et la taxe de séjour, l'agence préfère être payer en espèce... Arrivé sur à l'apparthotel, immeuble qui comporte d'autres apparthotel, j'ai un duplex au RDC de prime abord correct mais en regardant dans les détails coté ménage ce n'est pas trop cela. Les lits sont inconfortables et toute les nuits dans le lit j'avais l'impression de me faire piquer mais je voyais pas grand chose peut-être bien des puces d'eau... Le fait d être au RDC, on entend tout les allés venus des autres touristes. La piscine sur le tout est très petite elle sert juste à se tremper les pieds, de taille d'un jaccuzi., utilisable de 10h à 20h.... Le soucis c'est qu' après 2 semaines l'agence ne m'a toujours pas reversé ma CAUTION alors que je les ai appelé 2 fois et qu'il m'a été dit que le transfert était effectué. Toujours pas de caution, agence pas sérieuse donc je ne vous recommande pas !

The only good thing about this place is that is was close to everything but the condition of the apartment were really disappointed as I was not feeling safe because some opened the front door and god knows who was that person and the place wasn’t really clean and not many facilities

Lejligheden ligger tæt på centrum, det var rigtig nemt og hurtigt at gå til Rambla'en ... lejligheden var fin men noget slidt ... poolen på taget var også renlig slidt ... vi havde en ret kraftig stank fra toilettet under hele opholdet ... men ellers fint ... man skal lige ligge rengøring, skatter og fee hvis man tjekker ind efter 20.00 oven i prisen .. vi måtte betale 1500 ekstra ..

100% TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE
Terrible staff at customer service. the area to check in is 5 miles away... 90 Euro additional cleaning cost for one night stay! Rude staff, very slow at responding to queries. Unhelpful and useless.
