The dinner in the restaurant was excellent as well, and as a guest at the hotel you get the chance to go on the complimentary Battlement guided tour. “Was very pleasantly surprised by the exceptional cleanliness and service in this hotel. It has all the welcoming warmth of a great British pub, but with the feel of a four star hotel. We had dinner both nights in the restaurant and breakfast both mornings, the food was very good. We were very impressed and would definitely stay again. Highly recommend !”

“Right from the friendly welcome by Tom, my stay was fantastic. I was travelling myself with 2 young children for a family funeral in the area. All the staff were friendly and very good with the children. They were made to feel very welcome by all the staff. We enjoyed a meal in the evening. Good choice for adults and children. We also all enjoyed the buffet breakfast too. ”
