âThe location is unbeatableâright in the center of Camden, just a short stroll to the harbor, shops, and restaurants. Yet, despite being so close to everything, the hotel feels tucked away and peaceful, especially with its lovely garden and outdoor seating areas. âWe had a whole cottage with a spa bath and a separate bedroom to ourselves. The bed was comfortable! Besides a few splatters on the wall in the kitchenette area and the bathroom, this place was CLEAN. We loved sitting on the "porch" (had two chairs and a small table) and take in the environment with the beautiful flower beds. Breakfast was lovely (real mugs!) with two exceptions. The hot water for e.g. tea had slight taste of coffee, i.e. the thermoses for hot water only and coffee were not kept...
âVery nicely decor. Feels like home. Greatest welcome from Mark and Margo.just love our room, the grounds, the oceanview, our bed is like a pile of clouds. Shower is super. Everything you could want away on a vaca. The outside furniture is great. We just love this place and will be returning. The town of Camden is top shelf in our books! â€ïžâ
âIt is an older hotel, but it is very quaint, and it has the feel as if you're staying with family. Included homemade continental breakfast. Easy walk to harbor and restaurants.â
âHad a one-night stay at the Harkness Brook Inn. Just a few minutes from the port of Rockport. It was clearly recently renovated with quality craftsmanship and materials. Stayed in a king room with all the amenities you could need. It's your classic roadside inn with a touch of class. â
âJames and Gary were the consummate innkeepers. Attentive when appropriate and gave us plenty of space. We loved the inn. Quaint and comfy. Breakfasts are incredible. So delicious and inspired. â
âBryan and Rebekah are a wealth of knowledge about the area. They were wonderful to talk to. Cabin 5 is charming and very comfortable. Perfect place to explore the area. We visited Rockport, Camden, Rockland, Lincolnville, Belfast and Union. All easy drives from this location. Be sure to check out Mt. Battie, Breakwater Light and Heron schoonerâ
âThe hotel was fantastic. Every staff member was so kind, helpful, and seemed to genuinely enjoy their job. The only downside is there is no room service or spa. Usually this nice of a hotel would have both of these. â
âVery easy check in. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable, had great information about dining in area. Room was large and very clean. Front porch does need some repair.
