Det negativa är servicen (ganska fransk och dessutom kan inte alla engelska) och att det är både resort (pool underhållning och handdukskort för att låna badhanduk) och camping känsla (man ska vika ihop lakan och ta ut soppor etc innan man åker). Det var lite töntigt att man skulle betala för late checkout och att vi inte kunde checka in innan kl 16 när...

The room was placed so that everyone that walked by could see in and we did not feel safe to leave things in our fridge outside since anyone could walk in. There were bugs and mosquitoes in the room and the water in the shower flooded the bathroom.

“We stayed only one night at Hotel French Coco, but it was our best night on the island. When we arrived we immediately got a beautiful drink and a warm welcome. The place has a sense of peace created by the lush garden, wooden structures and friendly staff.
We loved our suite with a lovely shower facing a small private garden and a nice terrace with a view over the garden. We had dinner at the hotel and the food and wine was amazing.”

We asked if it was possible to get another room, but this was not possible on the first night. The next afternoon we got to switch to a room on the first floor that was facing the pool. This room was much better, but yet the kitchen sink was blocked so the water could not go out. There was a huge difference in the service mindset between the two woman manning the reception.
The hotel is located next to the ocean, but unfortunately the hotel villas block the view from both the pool and the restaurant. Also the fence facing the ocean has collapsed and looks quite rough.
In conclusion this hotel does not feel like a four star establishment and has seen better days."
