Hjälpsam personal. Små men rena och bra rum. Fräscht badrum. Läge nära stationen. Lite störig spårvagnstrafik utanför. Rekommenderas för övernattning vid tågresa.

Helt ok hotell.
Prisvärt hotell med gångavstånd till Bahnhof och gamla stan. Frukosten dock i dyraste laget. Vi åt en bättre och billigare frukost på närliggande Bahnhof.

Varför?
Jag fattar inte detta med så få handdukar annars var det helt OK.

Helt Ok men?
Det är ett helt ok hotell som ligger nära tågstationen utan att det stör. Minus är att det bara var badhanddukar och inga handdukar. Ska man använda en våt använd badhandduk och torka sig om man har duschat och kommer upp för att tvätta ansikte efter att man ätit frukost? Jag uppmärksammade det redan på vår resa ner i Italien och blev förvånad att det var likadant på hemresan? Äta är dyrt i Schweiz eller det är så att de har bra betalt i detta land.

A Few Days Away
This hotel is really convenient for the main railway station (SBB and SNCF). After a day exploring the city and surrounding area the bar offers a selection of drinks and snacks before ascending to your room. This was most welcome during this particular stay as there was an unexpected mini heatwave!

The property is at a walkable distance from Basel Bahnhof. The staff was very helpful. The property was very clean. They provided local transportation tickets, which was a surprise for us. Overall we loved the stay.

Good location within walking distance of the riverside area. Hotel does have parking but there are two issues to beware of. Firstly there are no directions to the entrance or instructions about how to enter. Also the entrance is very very steep and cars with limited ground clearance will not safely exit without grounding !!!

An enjoyable stay enhaced by a friendly reception
We arrived early hoping to check in our bags. Instead the reception manager arranged an early check in, provided tourist information and a Basel Card which gave us free transport and a 50% reduction at tourist attractions. In all this saved us a great deal and assisted us enjoying the tourist sites. The room was very comfortable and located close to the station. I regret that I did not catch the reception manager name so I coud thank him properly but will describe him as a sports lover.
