âWhat a terrific setting nestled in the mountains outside of Cartaga.
The Tico style cabin had two bedrooms and a single bath with a great room containing the kitchen, dinning room and living room.
I spent most of my time on the deck.

âVi behövde tvĂ„ dygn för att vila oss frĂ„n strand och vĂ€rme. Det hĂ€r hotellet passade oss som hand i handsken! Vi kunde Ă€ven lĂ€mna in all vĂ„r tvĂ€tt pĂ„ en tvĂ€ttinrĂ€ttning pĂ„ omrĂ„det. Det enda som var negativt var att hissen inte fungerade dĂ„ vi kom men det löste sig samma dag.â
âThis property consists of 3 relatively new cabins located inside a secure gate beside to the main road that circles the beautiful OrosĂ valley. The cabins are surrounded by greenery including a giant stand of bamboo and orange trees from the familyâs orchard, which smell delightful! The road is quite busy during the day but very quiet at night and we had no difficulty sleeping. The cabins themselves block most of the outside sound. There was plentiful hot water for the shower from the rooftop...
âStaying here for 2 days was the best part of our trip to Costa Rica! We were treated like family! Albert Alonso the owner is a wonderful chef and he makes everything himself. From bread to pizza, pies and everything in between. He also went over and beyond and called around to find a personal guide to show us around the area that was honest and trustworthy. Thank you to the Alonso family!â
âAn incredibly beautiful place with gorgeous rooms, amazing birds, magnificent flora and delightful people. The restaurant was open 8 to 8 and the food was amazing. â

âThe Hotel itself were good but quite expensive, breakfast was good enough but with 30$+ it should be much better. The surrounding area was not good at all which is kind of downtown San Jose. 1-2 days maximum is my recommendation.â
âUps: Beautiful, old buildings with murals surrounded by all kinds of flowers and trees. The place feels very secure. Great breakfast with fresh fruit, eggs, gallo pinto, bread etc.
Downs: They were supposed to provide kitchenware but it was not enough to actually cook for a family. Our room was neglected and the shower was not a pleasure to use. The pool was super cold and a lot smaller than it looks in the pictures but they do have a jacuzzi that was great!â
âIt was so convenient to walk around everywhere in San Jose! The host was very kind and accommodating even though I didnât speak much Spanish. I would stay here again!â
âWe had no complaints during our stay. The room was spacious and all amenities(cookware, plates, salt, towels, shampoo, body soap, conditioner, fridge and freezer, clothes iron, hangers, & others) were available for use. Aircondition was great and strong enough for the entire space. TV was smart which inluded entertainment apps but TV could be updated. Everything was clean and modern. Although daily housekeeping was not available(which was stated prior to booking), everything we needed was...

"Ett stort hotell med fantastisk utemiljö. Rummen Àr Àldre men rena och vÀlstÀdade.
Poolen ganska kall och begrÀnsade öppettider.
Vid incheckningen kl 23 pÄ kvÀllen fixk vi nycklarna till vÄr svit. NÀr vi kom in i rummet med vÄra barn, stod en man i duschen. Det hade blivit nÄgot fel....
Vi fick tvÄ separate rum istÀllet och dagen efter fick vi byta igen till en svit vi betalt för.
Vi erhöll ingen kompensation trots sÀmre rum och naken man i rummet.
Det Àr omöjligt att gÄ nÄgonstans, man mÄste Äka taxi/ uber om man vill lÀmna omrÄdet. "
"Very nice hotel with a garden pool area. Nice comfortable rooms and great service at the reception. Breakfast was also good with omelettes made on request.
There is a bar with big screens for sports fans.
The noise from the highway was a bit disturbing so ask for a room towards anotjer side if you are a light sleeper. "

Frukosten pÄ fiket bredvid receptionen var ett stort minus man fick vÀlja en varm ELLER kall dryck, juice och kaffe fungerade inte.Sen fick man vÀlja frÄn en fÀrdig meny. Ingen pÄfyllning pÄ kaffet, försökte bestÀlla lite starkare kaffe men de förstod inte vad jag menade ville ha lite frukt vid sidan om men det gick inte heller. Oklart om fiket tillhörde hotellet men allmÀnheten hade ocksÄ tillgÄng.
