Welcome to our Cosy Cottage in the heart of Hampshire, Oakley - Basingstoke. A family-owned property in a picturesque village.

You will have access to the entire home and which boats an open terrace with a Lake view, private patio, 2 reception rooms, and 2 en-suite Kingsize Bed Bedrooms.

The Interior has been carefully selected to honour the historic features of the property. Offering a relaxing getaway in this luxurious relaxing village of Oakley.

Our luxurious property offers 2 on-suite Kingsize bed bedrooms, and a single room, a large reception and dining room.
Situated in the heart of Hampshire, you have direct access to major motorways.

A well equipped space with a full selection of utensils, pots, pans and all the appliances you will need during your stay to cook your meals.
You will also find tea/coffee as well as other condiments throughout your stay.
The dining table situated in the dining room accommodates 4 guests comfortably and can extend to 6 guests for your visitors.

Living Room
The stylish, antique yet modern living area is situated in the dining lounge room, designed to offer you the most comfortable experience when spending time with your friends and family.
An additional entertainment room is located right next to the living are offering a large Smart TV, comfortable sofa, and a desk/chair.

On-suite Bedroom 1
This bedroom has been designed specifically to prove you comfort throughout your stay with additional mattress toppers on the king size bed. Linen and towels at hotel quality offering a luxurious touch.
You will also be able to enjoy entertainment in the room from the Smart TV, and book reading corner.

This room offer a king size bed, and additional mattress toppers for extra comfort.

  • Today was our first #lksawaydays of 2020 #ukoutandabout We left Reading and headed out to the Wiltshire village of Avebury to have a walk around the Neolithic henge, visit the museum and have some lunch in the Red Lion. Its been over 20 years since the LKs last visited so were looking forward to re-visiting. There are no charges to walk amongst the stones which make up the largest megalithic stone circle in the world, but there are separate charges for the museum and the Avebury Manor. The main car park is £4 for the day but not very big considering the volume of visitors Avebury sees, so if you visit we would suggest outside peak months. The purpose of the the stone circle is unknown but its believed to be a ritual complex, the site is a sacred site to the contemporary Pagans and if you are lucky on your visit you may see Druidic rites taking place. Its a pleasant half day and if the weather is a little moody it can add to the visit too! #avebury #aveburystones #stones #stonecircle
