If you are looking for the perfect AirBnB that has lots to do on site but also just a short drive to live music and great food look no further. Our AirBnB is situated on 5+ acres of land about 15 minutes from downtown Bastrop and only 45 minutes away from downtown Austin.

We keep the home especially clean and well stocked with everything you need to cook, grill, and have fun inside or outside.

There are 3 bedrooms. 1 King, 1 Queen, and a room with 3 twin beds. Each room has clean sheets and there are several extra blankets and towels situated around the house.

Kitchen is stocked with standard appliances as well as the usual condiments for cooking.

Dinning room table seats 8 but can be expanded to 10 if needed.

In the living room you will find a wide variety of games for adults and kids. We provide some DVDs but also have a Chrome cast for you to log into your streaming services. Lastly the record player doubles as a Bluetooth speaker.

Outside we have a fenced in yard with an outside community table, grill, and fireplace. In addition, we have provided several yard games including corn hole, Bocce ball, giant janga, and several more.

We allow friendly dogs (no more than 2 per stay). Dogs can be off leach inside the yard.

We strive to make every visit a 5 star visit so please let us know if there is anything you need or if something is missing.

Awesome place between Bastrop and Elgin. We needed a VRBO close to Elgin for thanksgiving that allowed pets. This rental was perfect!!! We had fires in the fire pit each night and had plenty of room for our dogs to run and play ball. We would definitely rent this property again!

Easy in and and LeavingHowever no details about trash or some amenities House was also near an identical house that may have been the model home in PicturesLoved it! however it being a mobile home No circulation in the rooms apart from the master with the.ceiling fan at night So both nights my guests slept in the living room and not in the TWO rooms we paid forIt was quite miserable after a hot day out Apart from the air flow the place needed a deep cleanLeaving the GUESTS to wash the dishes for the next GUEST was what it looked likeMajority of the dishes needed to be thrown away for MOLDAnd wearing socks for two seconds came back blackI don’t think it’s been mopped EVER

Great place

The house worked great for our stay. We met friends to go to Sherwood Forest Faire and the drive was only about 20 minutes over to the faire. The kitchen was fully stocked and the screened in deck was awesome. We were too busy to try the hot tub, but it was ready to go in case. Ian was easy to communicate with and we had no problems finding the property. We would happily stay here again next year for the faire.

Sherwood Getaway

My friends and I stayed here for three nights in April for the Sherwood Forest Renaissance Faire. The location is off the beaten path for sure, so be careful driving at night for critters and sharp turns. That said, privacy and proximity to the Ren Faire was what we were looking for and received. The hosts were very responsive and had already provided basically anything we could have needed. Beds were comfortable. Water was hot. Cleaning materials were on hand, etc. Some notes: If you use the hot tub, have bug spray handy due to mosquitos. Some of the roads in the area are a bit rough, so I don't suggest coming out in a small/low to the ground car. We drove a Maverick and had no issues

Recharge and Relax

We had a great family weekend staying at Ian & Veronica's hideaway. The house is so welcoming and you want for nothing. We came for a Sherwood Forest Faire Weekend and it is so convenient. Bastrop is close and you have to try the best BBQ in Texas at the Southside Market and BBQ. Bring an extra cooler, you will want to take some home. We enjoyed the well stocked game shelf for an afternoon family game, and enjoyed the countryside. Grab a glass of wine to relax in the hot tub as you soak away your city stress! Pack your bags anbring your s'more fixin's and enjoy their great property! Our puppers lived having room to romp 🐾❤️.

Great base for Bastrop State Park

This was a great house to make our base for our day hikes into Bastrop State Park. House was as advertised and the new hot tub was an added bonus after a day of long hiking. It was the perfect place for our family of four, with plenty of room for adults and kids. Boys loved the backyard and the dining table was great for eating as a family and playing games in the evening. Kitchen had everything we needed to make meals and the outside fire pit was a hit in the evenings. Hosts were very easy to communicate with and fast with their replies to any questions. Would recommend and definitely stay again next time in the area.
