"Luxury, Serenity and Family Focus – So Sofitel Delivers Again” 5 out of 5 stars This was our third time staying at So Sofitel Hua Hin, and the fact that we keep coming back says it all. We’re very demanding guests, yet every time the hotel manages to exceed our expectations. The service is warm, personal, and attentive – almost nothing is impossible, and the staff genuinely go above and beyond to make sure we feel at home. While there may sometimes be minor language barriers, the kindness and dedication more than make up for it. What we appreciate the most is how well our children are taken care of. The Kids Club is of the highest quality, with plenty of activities. The option to book a private babysitter is a game-changer for couples who also want some time to relax and enjoy each other’s company. The food is a true highlight – varied, delicious, and of excellent quality. The breakfast is top-notch, with something to suit every taste. Even my wife, who isn’t a big fan of Thai food, always finds plenty of great options. The hotel grounds are large, green, and beautiful – ideal for walks and recreation, adding to the relaxed and spacious atmosphere. One small area for improvement is the gym, which could benefit from an upgrade to match the overall high standards of the resort. Although we didn’t visit during any holidays this year, we’ve previously stayed for both Christmas and New Year’s, and it was absolutely magical. We highly recommend it. "

"This was a horrible hotel with an even worse service. We had booked a 3 night stay, but left after 1 night. The first room we received felt very old and outdated and very poorly cleaned, not to mention the black mold in the bathroom. I called the reception and asked for a new room which we received after some discussion. The second room was slightly better with updated furniture, but the cleanliness (or lack of it) was the same. There was also black mold in this bathroom. But we decided to give the hotel a chance and headed down to the pool. The water in the pool was so dirty that there was brown foam floating around the edges. The water was cloudy due to wrong PH-level and you noticed right away this was not a very pleasant area to be in. The restaurant had a nice menu, but half of the meals were not available because they were sold out. The service in the restaurant was very slow and they even managed to forget one of our meals (which we cancelled after waiting for 40 min and the rest of our party was finished). This hotel has a 4-star rating but I would give it a 2+ at the most. I don’t recommend anyone staying at this hotel even if it’s cheap. There is no service, sharp edges on many tiles around the pool and the total state of the hotell felt very old and outdated. The was no beach, but a stone staircase leading down to the ocean. The stone slabs of the staircase was covered with algae and was absolutely impossible to walk on without slipping. "

"My family (with a baby, toddler, teenager and adults) , had a fantastic stay over Christmas at the Veranda resort in Hua-Hin - Cha Am. Excellent service and with a most beautiful location right at the beach. We had 2 suites by the pool and one room with a veranda and a stunning view over the ocean. We'll definitely come back!! "
