Shot Stay

We came to town for a funeral and stayed in this townhome, which was very accommodating, clean, and comfortable. The bedroom is located on the second floor, and I've included a picture of the stairs. The layout of the bedroom is open, so if someone sleeps on the futon in the living room area, there won't be much privacy. The location is excellent, with many great restaurants nearby.However, I have a few suggestions for improvement. Several lightbulbs were burnt out, the ceiling fan in the bedroom did not work, and the bathroom faucet was loose.Overall, we would recommend this place and would be happy to stay here again.

Thanksgiving

I think this is the cutest property! It’s our 2nd time staying. I can see where the spiral staircase could be a problem for some but it’s very unique. The shower is a bit slippery and short for my 6’4” husband. Mattress was a little soft for my taste but not altogether uncomfortable.Owner was quick to respond to questions/issues. Pet friendly and small back deck area was good for them to sniff around outside. Overall we had a good stay!

Horrible

I explained the man my grandparents uncles and aunts were visiting for my 30th birthday. As they arrived he threatened to call police, already knowing my whole family was coming. Very very very rude on the phone. Doesn’t know how to talk to people with respect. Pretty apartment. Horrible host!!! Then doesn’t even allow me and my daughter stay the night after he made my family leave. Do I paid 200$ to stay til 11. The other Also, took my belongings!!! NEEDS TO BE REPORTED!!!! SCAM! KICKS YOU OUT! Agrees to the situation wheb the time comes you threaten police and don’t even allow me & my 7 year old to stay the night. Don’t book .

Needs some help

The condo fit our needs for space and location but had a couple of issues. Nice back patio and spacious kitchen/den for a couple, but all of the linens smelled sour and there was a fruit bowl with stinky rotten fruit that had been there for who knows how long that we threw away. The sofa had a sour smell as well. The bedroom is upstairs which is fine but it’s a spiral staircase which isn’t an easy climb with luggage or just going up and down period. The bathtub/shower is in the middle of the bathroom and not meant for taller people (I’m 5’8” and my husband is 5’11”). It was extremely slippery so be careful. The location was good. It is right by Perkins Rowe with lots of shops and restaurants and campus is less than 10 min away. Unfortunately the towels, sheets, and pillows all smelled sour so we washed the sheets and towels ourselves the first day because it was so bad. Thankfully I brought my own pillow. We assume it’s because the dryer needs to run couple of times to dry things completely and someone isn’t doing that. Biggest complaint would be the sour smell throughout the place. Crazy bathtub/shower would be second.

Nice place, but needs some repairs

We really enjoyed our stay here, and Louis was an excellent host. That being said, their were a few repairs that really need attention. The downstairs bathroom toilet was cracked at the base and leaked water all over the floor unless you turned the water off between flushes. Also the sliding door to the closet upstairs is completely falling apart. We were afraid to move it for fear of it falling off its rails. Everything was pretty good!

Things could be improved

The bed is a train wreck and need to be replaced. The downstairs toilet leaks, the shower upstairs is like trying stand on 2 bars of soap without being able to hold onto anything. That’s the bad, the good is that the property manager was good at communicating, literally everything else about the house was great, but that bed and shower about did me in!

Thanksgiving 2021

Great location, cozy space. Unit does not have a dining/breakfast table but we brought a folding table and it was perfect for our T’giving meal with daughter & friends. Owner always responded very quickly to any questions/requests. Nice bathroom set up in loft with 2 sink areas for both my husband and I to get dressed at same time. Nice to have powder room downstairs. Adequate pots/pans and cooking utensils in kitchen. Nice deck in back. Couch could have been slept on but I don’t think it was a futon as listed but we didn’t need it so not a problem. Pet friendly! Enjoyed our stay!
