“The staff was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the mid-century style of the furnishings in our room which was clean and cosy”

“All good”

“Beautiful home. In room bathroom. 2 Shared showers, lovely kitchen, reading areas.”

“Don’t let the outside fool you. They are redoing the outside right now and it looks run down but the inside is very nice. Very clean. The rooms are nearly soundproof; could hear nothing. One of the best beds and best showers I’ve ever had in a hotel. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful; would one hundred percent stay here again.”

“I must have had a newer room during my last stay, because the room I was in did show some wear and tear. The day I tried to use the ironing board, it fell apart on me. I called the front desk and reported it and maintenance brought a replacement right away. Also, I stayed four nights and chose not to have my room cleaned until the third day. When I did request the room to be cleaned it was not; they said they were down two housekeepers so it was not done. So, I just asked for extra towels.”

“The room was very clean, and very nice. The breakfast provided with the cost of the room is off the chart. The number of options offered at breakfast was overwhelming. Good job”

“The property was very clean, staff were helpful and responsive. The room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast had lots to choose from, although we ate 30 minutes before breakfast service ended so the coffee was lukewarm and the oatmeal was watery. I would definitely stay here again, however. It is in a nice area with lots of dining and shopping options.”

“Excellent place to stay in downtown South Bend. The proprietors are lovely people and the rooms are comfortable and clean. And a great breakfast too!”
