âFantastic place to stay when visiting Portland. The location can't be beat -- within a couple of blocks to the ferry terminal and Old Town shops and restaurants. The building is next to a police station and my family and I felt very safe. The unit was immaculate, modern, and fully equipped. Onsite parking was a huge bonus, as was the friendly and helpful staff. I would, without hesitation, stay at The Docent's Collection again.â
âLoved our stay at Longfellow. The amenities were great (highly recommend the spa!) and town car was an added perk we took advantage of. The drinks at the bar were some of the best we had in Portland. We loved the sustainability aspect of the rooms and found the bed to be very comfy.
All communication is done via text and we found the responsiveness to be spotty (anywhere from 5 min to the following day). Other than that, we had an excellent stay and will definitely be returning.â

âThe French toast strips and yogurt dispenser at breakfast were great updates. Comfy bed. The only thing missing was the little clothesline over the tub to dry bathing suits. They usually have them in other rooms I've stayed in. I love this place and stay here about twice a year. They have done some great work on the landscaping lately. â
