“Hotel is beautiful and everything is super chic.. loved our stay, staff very helpful and the areas to chill, drink, eat and relax are good. Swam in pool and lake, also arrived to a beautiful plate of chocolates for our wedding anniversary, lovely treat.. will be back for a girls retreat next time … a wonderful stay .. xxxx ”

“We had a lovely stay at Amelia Cottage while visiting family in Battle. Such a nice and warm welcome from the owner. The cottage is very well equipped with everything you need. The garden is lovely and well maintained with many flowers. The location is perfect, it is close to the playground and to Battle High Street. The local supermarket Jempsons is only a few minutes walk away and that was also very handy. We will definitely book again!”

“The room was nice and big. The staff were friendly. The location was great, near lots of pubs and restaurants. The pub is good too, with friendly people. Not necessarily suited for young children on friday night as the area is loud until 0030, although it did quieten down once bars were shut. The shower water pressure in the evening seemed a lot lower than the morning.”

“Otroligt charmigt och fint nära stranden och piren. ”

“Ett enkelt men mysigt familjerum väldigt centralt precis vid havet. Vi bodde 2 vuxna och tre barn i ett rum med två sängar på loftet och en våningssäng och en extrasäng där nere. Sängarna var sköna. Badrummet stort med bra dusch. Rummet var inte lika lyhört som rum annars kan vara i England. Balkong mot havet. Enkelt men rent, känns rymligt tack vare loftet. Garage finns precis utanför. Vi skulle absolut bo där igen.”

“The new management (since May 2024) is much nicer and more service minded. Proper English breakfast restored! We'll probably stay here again, when in Hastings area next time.”
