I’ve stayed in BSL many times and stayed at many other places. Very familiar with the area. We booked for 7 since the place advertised that it slept 8. The sofa sleeper was broken so one person had to sleep on the sofa which wasn’t ideal. I notified the property manager as soon as I got there but after I replied that the advertisement listed 8, the property manager wasn’t aware and thought it slept 6, she/he never replied back to my last message. I know nothing could be done at that point but it was not accommodating for my guest. The tub hose/faucet to the tub in one room was leaking the entire time and had to be left hanging in the tub when in use so that it didn’t drip all over the floor. The other bathroom has a very soft spot like there’s water damage to the floor. The back house/bedroom has a smell that you notice as soon as you walk in. The smell never went away, almost a fishy smell. Everything else was good and accommodating. Great location to walk to shops or restaurants. It was very clean. There was a Keurig which wasn’t advertised with coffee pods so that was a treat. Parking had enough for several cars which we loved! We weren’t able to use the pool as the weather was cool and it rained one the days we were there. I never received any exiting instructions so we left the towels on the floor and took out all the trash, linens stayed on the bed.

Crown Jewel

We have stayed at this property for the last four years. We love it! It is so welcoming and comfortable. The separate bedroom and bath out by the pool is great! I highly recommend this property. It’s in a great location and you can easily walk to shops, restaurants, bars and the beach. The pool is a great bonus!

Great time at the Crown Jewel

The house was great and the pool was even better. We had a nice visit and it was located close to all the right places. We will stay there again. Chris was very a Great Host, checked on us but let us have the place to ourself

Beautiful home, but too many downfalls

This home was plenty big enough for 8 adults, but it really only sleeps 6 comfortably. The pull out couch is broken making it very uncomfortable to sleep on. The amount of roaches that we saw in the two nights that we stayed was appalling. The cleanliness of the home was very concerning. The pool would have been a nice touch had it not had green algae growing at the bottom. The shower floor in the main house was very dirty. There’s mold growing inside of the washing machine. There was really no surprise when we saw a rat run out in the backyard. Lastly, the house does not cool down well during the day (the house stayed at or above 75° during the day) which makes the dinning room and front living room not useable during the daylight hours because of how hot those rooms are.

Perfect place!

We enjoyed everything about our stay here in bay St. Louis! What a hidden gem of a town. This home is beautiful, centrally located and perfect for families. I loved and appreciated that we were able to bring our dog and that the backyard was fenced in. If we visit BSL again, I would happily stay here and 100% recommend staying here to anyone.

What a mess

Upon arriving to the house, we noticed that there was a ton of construction going on directly next door. Looks like a rehab of a building- they ended late and were back at it around 6:30am, hammering, saws etc. The house was clean and any questions we had were answered by the owner. The grass had not been cut and I typically wouldn’t notice except that is how you walked into the house, thru the backyard. Thursday am, I turned on the lights in the kitchen and every light in the kitchen went out. Long story short, after contacting the owner, a contractor came out 3 hrs later. He tried fixing the situation and even called in another person to help but nothing worked after they worked for an extended period of time. The answer was that the owner would have an electrician come out and would be there that afternoon to which I said no- I would try and move a lamp into the kitchen but that I didn’t want to have any more men walking thru the house as I had my daughter and her 2 friends with me. The owner complied and within 10 min a truck pulled up and it was the pool guy that was supposed to have come the day before but his keys were locked in his truck. So I went outside and had the young ladies come in. When I called to say we would be leaving early after this, the owner did nothing to make amends to this situation. Furthermore, he simply texted saying ‘I am so sorry’. I really don’t like leaving this review, but hopefully they will fix the home for the next visitor.

Summer family vacay

We loved our stay in Bay St Louis! The house had everything we needed to accommodate our family of 4 adults and 3 children. The private pool was perfect for my kids. The house was cute and clean. The private bungalow was a nice surprise on the property. It included the 3rd bedroom and 4th bathroom. We enjoyed walking Main Street to visit restaurants and shops. We plan to stay again next summer!!

Crab Festival

Wonderful time in BSL

We loved Bay St. Louis! This house was great - location was fabulous and the outdoor area and pool were wonderful. House was very clean, beds were very comfortable. Would suggest curtains or blinds for the living room windows and door as this is the area that has the sleeper sofa so if you need that for sleeping, like we did, it would make the house perfect. We would stay here again - super impressed by how cute the house was and the whole town.

Great location w/ swimming pool

Convenient and easy walking distance to all points of interest . Great house for parties of 6, 8 if you don't mind a sofa bed. Owner was very accommodating and quick to reply.
