Cute cottage just steps from the pier and boardwalk in Bay Saint Louis. We really enjoyed our stay here. The bedrooms were good sized, the high ceilings and large windows throughout made the whole house feel light and spacious. The kitchen had the bare essentials for preparing and eating meals at the house, which we did a few times. A downside to this property is that the dining table doesn’t have chairs that go with it. There is a bench and 4 barstools. The bench is a bit too low, and the barstools are a bit too high to comfortably sit while eating (we sat side saddle on the barstools). Not a deal breaker, but something to take into consideration if planning to eat many meals at the house. Downtown BSL and Waveland were nearby for eating out and browsing in local shops. We had great communication with the property owner the entire time. When we arrived she notified us that the dryer wasn’t working properly, but arranged for someone to attend to it while we were there. Unfortunately due to the repairman’s schedule, it wasn’t fixed until after our stay, so we were unable to do laundry like we would have otherwise. All in all, it was a lovely property and we would stay again!
