Unique Lighthouse with Bay of Fundy Views & Hot Tub

Picture yourself relaxing on the third floor of this one-of-a-kind lighthouse, watching the tide roll in and out of the Bay of Fundy. From this elevated vantage point, you’ll enjoy ever-changing coastal views while having a peaceful retreat of your own. Although the cottage is close to local restaurants, the beach, and the Fundy Trail, it feels quiet and private—perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring.
This lighthouse was thoughtfully designed with guest comfort in mind and features a unique three-storey layout.
The main level includes a small foyer, a fully equipped kitchen, and a convenient half bathroom. The second level offers a spacious bedroom with a king-size bed, along with a full bathroom featuring a shower. The top level is the highlight of the cottage, with a cozy living room framed by panoramic windows and access to a rooftop deck overlooking the Bay of Fundy. The views from this level are truly special, and the famous sea caves are just a short walk away.
Please note that this cottage requires the use of stairs throughout and is best suited for guests who are comfortable with a multi-level layout. Access to the lighthouse is via a long gravel driveway that winds uphill, adding to the character of the property.
Originally designed as a romantic retreat for couples, the cottage now accommodates up to five guests due to popular demand. Sleeping arrangements include one king-size bed in the bedroom, two convertible couches on the top floor, and a sleeper sofa on the main level. Please keep in mind that the king-size bed is the only permanent bed in the cottage.
Whether you’re here to relax, explore the coastline, or experience the dramatic tides of the Bay of Fundy, this unique lighthouse offers a memorable and comfortable place to stay.

The cleanliness, the decor, the small things - such as some Christmas decorations and a bag of local ground coffee. Lots of games, books, etc along with a fully functional kitchen, bathroom, including a container with essentials (just in case we forgot something). As well, clear and timely communication with our host.

Wonderful!The Lighthouse is the best VRBO we’ve ever stayed in. Careful thought was given for everything to make guests stay as comfortable and relaxing as possible. The kitchen was perfect for the meals we cooked and the top floor was wonderful for our morning coffee and evening wine. It was a nice reading and napping space with fantastic views. I loved all the decor and pieces of art in the house. St Martin’s is a nice town by the bay and it was fun exploring the sea caves during low tide. I would definitely book this for your stay and hope to return one day.

I almost don't want to say how amazing this place is, for fear of it getting too booked for us to return! It's perfect from rooftop deck to super comfy bed to every single detail being thought of to make your stay unforgettable! This was our 2nd visit and it won't be the last! The host, Becky, is very responsive and friendly if anything is needed! St Martins is a wonderful area with great places to visit especially the amazing sea caves. Perfect 10 out of 10!

Amazing Family Vacation!We traveled with our two young adult kids, my mom, and my aunt—and The Lighthouse was the perfect home base for our getaway. St. Martins may be a small village, but it’s full of charm and adventure. We spent an entire day on the beach just watching the incredible tides roll in, and the nearby Fundy Trail made for a stunning day trip.Becky has truly thought of every detail—The Lighthouse is a cozy, well-appointed space that offers both comfort and relaxation. The kids loved soaking in the hot tub while we enjoyed evenings by the campfire. And the family of deer that wandered through the yard? Absolutely magical.Highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind and explore the beauty of the Bay of Fundy!

Book it!

The Lighthouse is an amazing place to stay! It was immaculate and furnished/decorated so beautifully. If you are on the fence about booking it for whatever reason, absolutely do not hesitate! From the 360 degree windowed third level and deck to the hot tub it is one of the most relaxing and beautiful vacation rentals we have stayed at (probably ever!). And so sorry, Becky, we realized about an hour after checking out that we forgot to actually start the dishwasher

The Lighthouse at Fundy Bay, St. Martin’s was spectacular in every way, but most importantly the hosts really care about their guests. We had everything we wanted and needed and more; amazing views, comfortable and beautifully appointed accommodation, delicious coffee, teas, robes, hot tub, fire pit, two high quality hair dryers, etc. They thought of everything. They even had a kit in one of the bathrooms that contained incidentals. We felt very pampered. The hiking, people, and food in St. Martins exceeded our expectations. We can’t wait to come back.

Great stay!

We loved our time staying at the lighthouse. The rental was very clean, comfortable, and well appointed with everything we needed. The views were amazing and it was a quick walk down the hill to the sea caves. We appreciated the attentiveness to people with allergies (unscented detergent, no air fresheners, and no pets) - it made the place even more comfortable. We found that we preferred driving up the hill to the house from the sea caves side rather than the way our GPS recommended. The cottage is a quick drive to the Fundy Trail Parkway for scenic views and hikes. The hot tub was great after a day of hiking. Would highly recommend this rental!
