“Great location, nice comfortable apartment, easy access, clean. It is on the main drag but the walls make it quiet inside, even within the grounds. Quick jaunt to some amazing restaurants, dive clubs, and the harbour. Nice sized pool. Had a problem with the lock but someone was sent to fix it immediately. Bonus: no smell of mildew.”

However, the check-in process was significantly hindered by a lack of clear, proactive communication and instructions from the host, which created an unnecessary challenge upon arrival. Once inside, we noted that the unit is in need of substantial maintenance and repair. Specifically, several fixtures and appliances appeared to be in disrepair. “Well equipped apartment ”

“If we were to visit Bayahibe again, we wouldn’t stay here nor recommend it. The floors of our room were dirty upon arrival, there were ants and spiders web in the bathroom etc. The bed was rock hard. The available staff only knew Spanish so there was zero ways to communicate for us non-Spanish speakers. The location is good - short walk to the beach and stores just around the corner. ”
