Denna Long Beach Island, NJ semesteruthyrning i Ship Bottom är det tredje hemmet från stranden; Med magnifik utsikt över havet och har 3 sovrum, 2 badrum, en utomhusdusch, vardagsrum med 75 tums platt-TV, fullt utrustat kök, HD-kabel, höghastighetsinternet, tvättmaskin / torktumlare, parkering utanför gatan och två zoner central luftkonditionering och värme. Det ligger på en bred gata med gott om parkering och ligger bara 2 korta promenadblock till Barnegat Bay Watershed och närliggande marina. Simning, solbad, fiske, crabbing, kajakpaddling, jet-skidåkning och mer är allt bara bokstavligen ett stenkast bort, liksom många av Ship Botts familjedagsfaciliteter, inklusive två minigolfbanor, en liten arkad, bageri (som kan skryta med världens bästa gelé munk), glass, godis, pizza, bagels, butiker, kaféer, restauranger och, för ultimata bekvämlighet, en närliggande Dollar General-butik.

Så kom och skäm bort dig själv och din familj i sommar med en strandsemester till Ship Bottom, Long Beach Island (i allmänhet känd som LBI). Denna smala barriär på 18 mil utanför New Jersey-kusten har några av de mest naturligt vackra stränderna på östkusten, samt hundratals boutiquebutiker och fina restauranger. Det är ungefär 30 mil norr om Atlantic City. Och, LBI driver en gratis pendeltrafik, sju dagar i veckan, från 10 till 22, och servar alla 18 mil från ön.

Semesterfirare som letar efter en paus från sanden eller bränningen kan tillbringa en dag med att göra andra roliga saker. Res till norra änden av ön och se Barnegat Lighthouse State Park eller se Viking Village. I Beach Haven i söder kan man ta sina små till Fantasy Island Amusement and Water Park, uppleva Black Pearl Pirate Excursion eller besöka Museum of NJ Maritime History.

På kvällen kan man lugnt tappa av och koppla av på utomhus balkongerna och lyssna på havets vågor krascha mot bränningen eller njuta av många av öns nattliv, inklusive Joe Pop's (gångavstånd), Terrace Tavern och Nardis Tavern & Grill.

Detta hem har ett sovrum med en king size-säng, ett andra sovrum med två enkelsängar och ett tredje sovrum med två uppsättningar med två våningssängar, som bekvämt sover 8. Det är perfekt för en stor eller två små familjer. Detta hem översvämmades inte av Super Storm Sandy. Fullständigt renoverat 2017! Nya möbler 2017!

1) Incheckningstid är 14:00 och utcheckning är 11:00.

2) Strandmärken krävs av alla personer över 12 år för både vik- och havstränder. De behövs från mitten av juni till och med Labor Day. Veckotaggar gäller från lördag till fredag och kostar $ 20 vardera. De kan köpas i Borough Hall eller från stadens badge-badkar.

3) Livräddare är på tjänst från 10:00 till 17:00, om vädret tillåter. Surfing är endast tillåtet i livräddare avsedda områden under sommarsäsongen.

We had a great week at this property! The house is steps away from the sand & we did not even have to wear flip flops! The beach itself is expansive & just beautiful. The common areas of the home are spacious and nicely appointed. The couches in the living room were big & comfortable & the kitchen had a banquette that made great use of the space. There were water views from the kitchen as well as the rooftop which we loved the best! There was a hightop table for (4) so you could see the ocean and (2) couches and a big weber grill. We ate out most nights but we enjoyed snacks & cocktails before dinner and take out on some nights. Every morning we also had coffee upstairs! The beds were very comfortable, however, the second bedroom has 2 sets of bunk beds and the 3rd bedroom had 2 single beds. We did not "push" the 2 singles together but you could do that if a couple wanted to. We gave the largest bedroom to our daughter and her husband because they have an infant & it could accomodate their portable crib and baby "gear" without a problem. The host was amazing to deal with and very accommodating; he allowed us to check in early because the house was ready (did not have to do that). When we asked any question, the response was quick & helpful. We could not have asked for a better experience!!

We absolutely loved our stay at this beach house! From the moment we arrived, everything felt fresh, clean, and thoughtfully designed. The home was airy and beautifully decorated, with plenty of space for our group to relax and unwind. The kitchen was well-stocked, the beds were super comfortable, and the outdoor spaces—especially the balcony—were ideal for morning coffee or sunset drinks.The location was unbeatable: just a short walk to the beach, and close to great restaurants and shops. It was the perfect mix of peaceful retreat and easy access to everything we needed. We felt right at home and appreciated all the little touches that made our stay extra special.We’ll definitely be back next year. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing, stylish beach getaway!

Long Easter Weekend in LBI

Great stay Labor Day Week!

Our family had a great stay Labor Day week. Ron made check-in super easy, and even texted to let us know the house was ready hours earlier than the official check-in time. The house is well stocked with cooking and cleaning supplies and everything was very clean. The roof deck is the best part of the house, with a beautiful view of the ocean. The location, the third from the beach, cannot be beat.

What a peaceful week! Quiet street so close to the beach it was almost too good to be true! Walkable to so many things. House was well appointed and had everything you would need for a stress free stay. Perfect location, great place for LBI getaway

Though the weather wasn’t good during our stay, we can’t say enough good things about this beach house. Super close to the beach. Very close to the bridge to the island. Walking distance from Ferrara's Island Bakery for delicious Jelly Donuts. Close to shops, restaurants, church and retail. Roof top deck (in good weather) is amazing. Light switches and cabinets are clearly labelled. Owner very responsive to questions via VRBO app. Would stay again.

Exceptional!! Five Star Plus

My husband and I spent Thanksgiving weekend at “Third From The Beach” which is really “Third From The Beach.” As accurate as the listing was the in-person is even better. The first thing we noticed, besides the beach, was how immaculate the house was and from there nothing disappointed. The house is beautifully decorated and filled with all the amenities needed. The living room has comfortable couches, large windows that let in great light and a balcony where you can sit and have coffee. The kitchen is well appointed plus amazing views of the bay and ocean. Bedroom and bed very comfortable. And the rooftop deck, even in November, was a wonderful place to stargaze. The location couldn’t get any better. The house is on a pretty residential street close to beach, bay, shopping and restaurants. Don’t think you could get a more gracious host. Ron was immediately responsive to all of our inquiries and was warm, friendly and extremely helpful. No question we will be returning to “Third From The Beach.” Thanks Ron, Susan and Dave

Great place and location

Ron was great as far as any information needed, even though everything was as stated in description on VRBO. Location right in Ship Bottom was great, and very short walk to the beach. The best for us was the rooftop deck! Awesome view, and pleasantly surprised there was the kite festival on same street , which we could watch from rooftop. Will definitely stay again.

The Perfect Getaway

September Getaway

This house is perfect. The close proximity to the beach makes it the perfect getaway. We had amazing weather, except for some rough surf but water was still warm and we pretty much had the beach to ourselves. The beds are very comfortable and the views from the decks are impressive. The kitchen is well equipped and I loved eating breakfast and seeing the ocean. The location is great. Walking distance to everything. 3 blocks to Ferrara’s Bakery which is the best bakery on the island. We would definitely stay there again.

EXCEPTIONAL!

Ron was quick to respond and book our last minute get away to LBI. Check in was quick easy and we found the home exceptionally clean upon our arrival. Location was perfect, as we were able to walk to nearby shops, restaurants, ice cream and a liquor store just s block away. We especially enjoyed coffee and dinner on the rooftop deck with a beautiful view of the ocean. We would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend! Thank you Ron.
